I did not know they had their own factory... cool!

I have these on my FPV. Two things I noticed: In Normal / Sport mode, you will get about 1 minute of extra flight time, if you are floating around / nothing aggressive. The other was these props will grab the wind a little more, which is by design. I was bounced around a little more with the MA props over the stock on windy days. But the difference was barely noticeable. Great props! No mods needed! Neat!

8:11...GPS speed is calculated by horizontal movement over the earth not a vertical dive...IIRC. Does your Speed sensor use barometric calculations for vertical speed ? I may be wrong.

Think of a GPS watch for monitoring your running. Your arm is vertical & horizontal as you move forward. Speed recorded is forward only. So for the drone in this test the forward speed out of the dive is recorded.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 So basically you are only picking up speed in the dive (Not Getting and Dive GPS Speed Info) so that the GPS can get the fastest speed when you pull out of the dive and the Drone is flying Horizontal as I indicated. Thanks for the affirmation... ;-)

You can use just about any prop with the aikon prop adapter. If you want to go stealth, try the HQ 4x4x6 props for cruising

The GPS test unit measures ASL not AGL. Thats why the heights are off. VDOP on GPS is also a bit too large to rely on for this for height function. Hence drones use Variometer rather than GPS.

I have these and the small rig tail wings but my MA props don’t touch and about 3-5mm gap. Great video I wish I had the confidence to fly out of sport.

I have these and they work great. Just don’t hit anything, they Disintegrate unlike the dji’s props they don’t.

Are there any performance props for the Mini 2 or Phantom 4? I have the low noise version for the Phantom but I can't find anything else.

Master Airscrew is the best! My now dead Mini 2 had them and I really liked how they worked/sounded. Thanks for the comparison video! As for the max altitude measured by the GPS device you were using, perhaps it was measuring the absolute altitude, not AGL? Because Ottawa is at least 70 m above sea level, so 200 m above sea level would mean about 130 m AGL.

I like it. Where you get the Color on you’re drone? Do you have a link of the GPS Modul ?

I've been using Master Airscrew (MA) props for as long as I can remember. IMHO, they're the best props available at a reasonable price. Never had an issue with them (eg. out of balance), whether big or small on any of my planes. I bought the new ones MA designed for the Mini 2 and, as always, they came very well packaged and beautifully molded. Yes, much stiffer than the DJI ones. They also performed very well and are slightly quieter the the original ones. Master Airscrew makes really nice props. Thanks for this informative video.

The test was so good! It was interesting to see the comparison between the original DJI FPV Drone propellers and Master Airecrew propellers! The speed was amazing with both the propellers on, and most importantly I came to know the main difference between Manual Mode and Normal/Sport mode! The GPS satellite positioning system still seems to be so cool and high-tech whenever I think deeply about it!

Two reasons: - The internal does not show Max speed - The internal is small in size and less visible to show the public

“Droneviewer”….. is a free program at a basic level…import your mp4 file into this program make sure the srt file is in the same folder. The srt files are video sub titles in advanced camera settings, that record all telemetry including speed. You should check it out

For newbies to manual I always recommend the following. First ensure you have followed the videos that allow your drone to go into manual (I have old videos on that). Next fly up as high as you can and while hovering, put it in manual and have your finger over the switch that puts it back into Normal or Sport. You can't crash into anything up in the air and if you can't control it, you can easily switch out of manual & then try again.

Having a drone is neat! I'm thinking about getting one.

Hello Captain, I wonder do you get the following warning; Propeller guards detected. Flight performance lowered to help ensure flight safety... why is this happening with MAS Props and does it really lowers the performance and is this happening in every mode (N-S-M)? Thank you Captain

I fly in MANUAL mode so I get no such warning. Perhaps it is because you are flying in beginner mode (NORMAL & SPORT) and all your settings are set to that.

I hope you get a hold of the new DJI Matrice 30 - I would love to hear your unbiased review. This is a drone I am interested in for mapping applications and biological research.

If I change the propellers, does it affect the warranty?

Only if you crash and tell DJI you changed the props.

i like them for my FPV. they seem to be a bit quieter, definitely more "packable" (they stack together well), and very durable.

Can the camera record in 1080P video also besides just 4K? & can it just take pictures besides just videos? Thanks..

Honest opinion is what the vid is all about. I leave it up to the viewer to decide if the product is something of use to them. If flying fast is you’re thing then that’s what they are for. They are certainly not designed for cinematic filming.

Haven't flown mine 2 more than 2 months...gotta fly it more, it's by far my favorite flying experience...the fpv goggles just add that extra thing that's missing to drone flying. Hopefully at some point the Mavic 3/soon to come mini 3 will be fpv capable...that would be cool.

One Question; it looks like with the Ludicrous Props in a spin-dive scenarios you have some microshakes (blurred by the in-drone cam stabilizer) So how will they affect a Gropro 9 setup without any Stabilizer

question I noticed you put a GPS device on your DJI fpv. I thought their done have a location finder on it and do you recommend doing this as a back

GPS device was only to capture speed. No need to add one for any other purpose.

They're loud because of the bull nose tip, not because they're heavier... but lighter props are more efficient & give you more flight time in general

Just got one of these monsters after a "difficulty" with the first drone that was delivered...sooo, after a bit of faffing around with getting a replacement the new one came and all seems to be fine. She's called Mable btw lol. Haven't looked into these yet as I ordered the Aikon prop adapter and a job lot of Gemfan hurricanes to go with it from Banggood to make my tentative steps into the FPV hobby. Thank you for the video and OI will be certainly look at these in the future...Take care and keep up the GREAT work 💕👻💕

The drone is so heavy that you'll always have prop wash at fast speeds

I purchase the red pair of these got them a few days ago but they caused my DJI drone to say it has propeller guards on and that it loses performance on the goggles it says this when I put them on the drone and try to fly it

You must be flying in NON-MANUAL mode.

The airscrew props certainly increases the fpv speed... Great review captain 👍

Really nice video cool review nice props

Got mine and tested them out. Definitely more aggressive pitch and louder noise factor but I don't really see any power advantages or punch-out increase. Keep in mind it's apprx 100F and my altitude is more than 1mi MSL. I thought the bright red would be easier to spot but they aren't. With increased structural rigidity over DJI OEM props I do expect these to be more durable hitting leaves and branches but only time will tell. I can tell you that when I launch from my back porch the new blades clear every spec of dirt and leaves from concrete and send ants flying. This beats sweeping. 😄

The difference is when you fly in MANUAL mode. If you fly in NORMAL or SPORT, then no difference as the drone is regulated by GPS.

Captain Drone your suppose to mount the GPS facing towards the sky or you will not get an accurate reading. I have the same GPS and as you know all GPS’s have a “Patch” antenna that must be aimed towards the sky.🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you are mistaken and thinking of the 1970's GPS modules.... Think of your watch... do you have GPS in it? If so, do you walk around with your wrist facing the sky? The GPS works fine in any orientation. I've used it in my car stuck to the rear of my Jeep tailgate on the same angle and it works fine.

I'd attached a drone to a large balloon in that case & send it off with the motors shut off... let the wind take it. :-)

I honestly don't know. I loaned the props to a friend who only flies in NORMAL mode and he liked them, but he never mentioned if they improved anything, other than the cool looking factor.

Hey Bud I have a question I follow your channel all the time you actually got me into drones by watching your channel, I started off with a GEPRC TinyGo and I love it I'm getting good. I want to buy a big drone and I wear contacts and when I look through the GEPRC TinyGo goggles it's blurry so I have to take off my contacts. Is there any FPV goggles that I can buy that will adjust to my vision so I don't have to take off my contacts lenses?

You are kinda of stuck because if you don't wish to spend much, you have to find some BOX GOGGLES that you can fit a set of eyeglasses in. When you spend more and jump up to goggles with individual lenses, like FATSHARK small form factor, then you can either buy prescription lenses or off the shelf lenses or get a set with adjustable lenses.
