I'd rather use the avata with stabilized video and not haul around a gopro killing flight time. I love both my fpv and avata though.

@@Amberdogproductions I agree I don't put a GoPro on my Avata because it's just too heavy. But on my DJI FPV, I do slap the GoPro on.

What are your recommended rates for avata for some smooth cinematic moves? I just started flying manual and I am having a hard time to control it to be not as aggressive.

Hi Archuro, So I usually do this for my Rates Roll 180,500,0.65 for Pitch 180,500,0.65 and Yaw 100,400,0.65 mess around with them and see what is the most comfortable for you! hope this helps.

Hi Filippo So I use a Flat color profile settings and 4k 60FPS but I do jump to 4k 30fps from time to time

So much negative comments on your side about this “TOY”, it is a good FPV drone easy to fly for the beginners, very decent image and video quality, also includes a very capable FPV Goggles

The DJI fpv is a great drone to learn on. I just expected DJI to put a better camera on it knowing this product could potentially be a big market for them. I think the first generation Avata was executed perfectly. Good camera quality and fun to fly .

Eii! Is there that much diff between fpv and the gopro?

I would say so. The DJI FPV drone camera is not great I had to put a GoPro on it to make it usable. The DJI Avata on the other hand has a great camera I Use that footage all the time and I can stabilize it with Gyroflow!

@@nathancasey7712 actually at the time I made this video it wasn't. They did release an update that enables 10bit so I guess the answer is yes!

Avata cannot be beaten-it’s made by one of the best photography,microphones,cameras,wilderness banks and drones.go pro will never beat the drone dji has in mind

Doesn't the footage from the gopro look the best? I have heard that avata footage isn't great for colour correction

It’s ok for color correction but it isn’t great. I think the GoPro is way way better

Awesome!! the Dji FPV is lacking when it comes to the camera. So keep that in mind. But the best thing you can do is fly on a simulator. I recommend the DJI flight simulator or a computer game called Liftoff which is a sim as well. I put a GoPro ontop of my DJI fpv drone.

if I was you go for Avata. I heard FPV is like the comment said lacking in quality Avata is better for beginners and its more durable on top of that its camera is better. FPV asks for mounted GoPro

Yes it actually does vibrate in a weird way. Ive noticed that if I put the camera at the perfect angle it does reduce that noise. I think the best way to do it is get a gopro bones. I just wish they had put a better camera on this thing.

The extra weight and noise bother me too much but i also realize that good setting of manual exposure mode,cinelike and grading in Davinci came out pretty good.I also like to fly with Motion controler depend on situtation, but both are great manual or motion controller. I order a sub 250 long range too so i can fly around my house should come soon. Thanks for the feedback! @@MartinVilla_Rec

Ill have to give the Motion controller a try! When you fly it in Manual mode do you stabalize the footage after ? I notced you cant really do much with the footage. The gopro footage I thow into gyroflow or the gopro player and it does a great job. But for the Dji footage I dont get Gyro data on the FPV. The avata does provide Gyro data so I can use Gyro flow. Anytime! I'm thinking about picking up a long rage drone soon to replace the FPV. @@YTFPV

ya that's the down side of the FPV no way to stabilize i guess it force you to fly really smooth. I guess Naked gopro maybe the way. Avata is great for that. I love all drone there super fun and all of them have there unique advantage and disavantage. Been also playing with the headtracking of the Avata there a lots of fun stuff to do with it. Will put a video together of all the tracking stuff i did it's pretty nice i think. I have a other freestyle cinewoop but it's been destroy on my 3 flip on the way down lol so can't wait for the new one. Nice chatting @@MartinVilla_Rec

Nice Chatting with you as well Let me know when you post those videos I would love to check them out. I agree it sucks that you cant use gyro data. I think I drink to much coffee.So flying smoothly doesnt happen. So I need programs like Gyroflow. Im plannig on going to a really cool location here in the next week or so and im going to fly my drones and post a longer video! O man im already on my 3rd FPV drone so I know how it can be haha @@YTFPV

I would recommend it! I like using it with the fpv controller. But it’s does not do so well in high winds so just keep that in Mind
