I am from Costa Rica, totally Latin, but this song awakened some African roots in me, the drums move me to tears. Thank you Gambia for this wonderful woman, I hope to see her on this side of the continent sometime. Long live Africa and Latin America!!!

I'm Zambian too, I never knew this instrument existed growing up. Then i became obsessed with music from that region, and I was fortunate to see her live in London last year, that's were she's usually based. She needs to be invited to Zambia to perform, our people are missing out.

Ich hatte Karten, aber durch Corona wurde der Spielort geändert... so schnell war ich nicht. Ich würde euch trotzdem so gerne sehen und "we all d jarabi" mit euch singen. Es geht wohl um "Love" aber ansonsten spricht wohl diese wunderbare Musik und das professionelle Zusammenfinden in diesem schwierigen schwierigen Rythmus bände. Allein die Findungsphase auf diesen Rhythmus ist Heilung.

Lovely music but I also enjoyed watching their faces, especially the drummer. His smile made me smile, too. Great filming - it was like sitting there and looking at them. It adds something extra for me when the musicians seem to enjoy playing.
