I didn't see anyone with this version, so I thought i'd share it. The sound is very distinct from the non-diff version, as i'm sure you will judge for yourself.
For some reason, my video editor cut the song. I no longer have the full song with 4:23 minutes long :(

All I can hear are screams in the background, machine gun rounds firing off, drones coming after me and big daddies stomping the ground with their little ones haha.
The performers in the Bioshock game are apparently Paul Patterson, violin, Brian Lovely, guitar, of the Cincinnati, Ohio-based swing ensemble The Faux Frenchmen, a group that specializes in playing the "Hot Club" style swing pioneered by Django Reinhardt.

Hey, thanks! I didn't know that about the game. Django is great.

That's great to know! I knew whoever it was, they were very talented and had mastered that style. Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli would have loved it.
A very relaxing song, in my opinion. Perfect for hearing during my breakfast
welcome to groundhog day, cadet!
Oh christ, this song is so good.

Welcome to groundhog day, cadet.
Thank you for sharing such beautiful music!
Smile all the time when stephen start to play ♥♥♥♥♡♡
I would also love the mp3 to the whole piece i just recently discovered django, it has opened up a whole new era of music to me
@HayenMill Fell in love with this recording and then saw your messages about a full version and wondered if I could also get a copy... or if you could direct me to how I could find it. Thanks for posting even this much... lovely.
sounds like something from Bioshock. Pretty awesome! Nice song. and yes epic Triplets of Belleville pic
@fesaly92 It is in Bioshock. In Upper Heat Loss Monitoring in Hephaestus.
@Smoothbluehero Django also played with clarinetist Hubert Rostaing and later even saxophones. The usual line up tho is: Melody instrument (violin/ clarinet), Rhythm guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass and thank the lord, django rarely used percussion instruments in his ensemble.
@jb7mil : Sure thing. Private Message me via KZread with your e-mail and tell me which songs you'd like
@wkunzelman1 damn, my memories did not fail. Sweet!
On a second listen you're right, this can't be Django. This one is from a video game series called Bioshock. There are other Django tunes from the soundtrack for the game that people are passing as Django on KZread. But I'd like to find out who did the covers 'cause they did a great job?

@Max16032 Yes, it's very smooth. I am thinking of a cheek-to-cheek dancing with a loved one.......
@Smoothbluehero A Selmer style guitar is a must have! Gitane guitars are the most affordable and best sounding for the money, about $700 US. I have had 2 and both are great, sold one to a friend I play this style with. You need to use Argentine or John Pearse Nuage strings to get the sound. Robin Nolan and Dix Bruce have good book/cd combos to get started.
@2Touchstone: Thanks. I apologize for the typo
@deallotrios: I think my mp3 version doesnt cut off at the end (it has 4:23min). PM me with your email and ill send it to you
I don't think this is Django or Stephane.
Great version. Do you know when was this recorded, the guitar here has a different sound? Sounds more like an American archtop.
Django Reindhart with Micky Mouses`s hands
What instrument or instruments would you need to know to play his songs? I'm guessing violin and guitar of course but are there any other instruments?
This song actually was in bioshock
@SS88SS88SS88SS88 I love Tosin!
the triplets of belleville pic !!!!!!!!!
You wouldn't happen to be in possession of the entire song, would you?

Bioshock soundtrack dawg
Yeah, acoustically sounds great, something hard to achieve back then, and the guitar solo goes off key...something DR was not good at.

IT IS NOT DJANGO !!!
No es Django...!!!!! es una estafa...
Its a great guitarist but anyone who has heard Django knows straight away he's not as fluid or in complete command of the guitar ..no one can pass themselves off as Django
IT IS NOT DJANGO ! probabily Matelot ro Satané Ferré .
Gorgeous. No reverb required.
