Caruso was written and composed by the Italian singer Lucio Dalla in 1986. It was a dedication to the Italian tenor Enrico Caruso. I hope this information will help you. After Lucio Dalla’ death, this song became very famous and has many covers.

Danny...Since I first discovered your reaction channel, you have just poured out artist after artist that I really like. This is one of my favorite songs. I studied classical voice in college in the 1960's & my idol was Enrico Caruso. I have thoroughly researched his life and find his life story to be fascinating. He was the world's first ever superstar recording artist in the early 1900's. He died at age 48, and this song although not specifically about Caruso, it is referring to things in his life. It was written by Italian musical artist, Lucio Dalla in 1986. Also, Lara Fabian is one of the greatest singers in the world. She really "inhabits" a song. She was one of Dimash's idols when he was growing up. This is a great choice. BTW, your beautiful wife sure does dress up your show.

I get chills from all of Lara's best songs. Caruso was indeed sung and made popular by the great Pavarotti. Lucio Dalla is the writer - composer of this beautiful song. I love the story of Caruso.. it's heart wrenching. BTW.... your wife is beautiful and adorable.. and has great instincts. This was wonderful to have her on this reaction.. because I was getting so frustrated with you not getting the chills... lol... so she saved this reaction for me!!! hahahaha Anyway... great job you two!!!! Spectacular artist and such a clear rich timbre. A Lyric Soprano who trained from very early childhood and sings in many languages. Her back catalogue is huge and she explores her voice and immense story telling skills across numerous genres. No wonder she and Dimash adore each other. I gather she has been working with Igor Krutoy since at least 2010. A real treat.

It is a Song from Lucio Dalla about the Death of Enrico Caruso, the propably best singer since Orpheus. It has great lyrics as well, find a translation. Pavarotti, who covered it like many others, saind once that this is the best song of the (last) century. It has become an international classic. And tis is one beautiful version, one of my favorits. By the way, Julio Iglesias has also covered it. Others who covered it were e.G. Metallica, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Gianna Nannini, Il Volo, Jonas Kaufmann (German Opera Singer), Celine Dion and Doro.

his piece, "Caruso" was composed and sung by Lucio Dalla... It is a tribute to Caruso, the Italian tenor par excellence, but it is also a tribute to Italian music, pop music, today's music. However, this song also acts as a "glue" between classical music and "pop" music, something that binds various musical themes, what is lost today ... btw. Lara is a spectacular singer, 🧡❤

Hello Danny, What beautiful is Italian language ...oh my God! And it's a French who says it :) I think you should try to find the translation of "Caruso" cause it's really a beautiful song full of its Italian's roots, full of Italian's soul if you see what I mean. "Potenza della lirica dove ogni dramma é un falso" is a line from the song that perfectly illustrates "La comedia del Arte" so dear to Italians ... Amitié,

I'm sure you're tired of me saying that, but okay....Anyhoo, I am including the words to this song because although there are so many words in it, now and then I get a kick out of understanding what the heck someone is saying. Does anyone sing in English anymore? LOL. Lara Fabian becomes deeply involved in her music. I loved your reactions! So....when you are going to do your comedy hour? LOL,Thank You! Take care you two! ✌️ Lyrics : Here, where the sea shines and the wind blows on an old terrace on the Sorrent gulf a man hugs a girl, after she had cried then he clears his voice and begins again to sing. I love you very much very very much, you know it's become a chain that melts the blood inside the veins, you know He saw the lights in the middle of the sea and thought about the nights there, in America but they were just the boats (with lights, used to fish during the night) and the white trail of a propeller He felt pain in the music and got up from the piano but when he saw the moon coming out from behind a cloud even death seemed sweet to him he looked in the eyes of the girl, those eyes green as the sea then suddenly a tear slipped out and he thought he was going to drown. I love you very much very very much, you know it's become a chain the melts the blood inside the veins, you know Power of lyric, where every drama is fake and with a bit of make-up and mimic you can become another person but two eyes, so close and so truthful, looking at you make you forget the words and confuse your thoughts so everything becomes small, even the nights there, in America you turn around and you see your life as a propeller's trail Yeah, it's life that ends, but he didn't think too much about it on the opposite, he felt (already) happy and began again to sing I love you very much very very much, you know it's become a chain that melts the blood inside the veins

The writer of this song, Lucio Dalla (from Bologna, northern Italy), wrote this while staying in one of the rooms where Enrico Caruso, former famous tenor (From Neaples, southern Italy), spent the final days of his life. Caruso was 48-years-old when he died, and a few years before Caruso died, he married Dorothy Park Benjamin who was 20 years younger. They had a baby girl they named Gloria. Lucio Dalla wrote this song while imagining how Caruso, who knew he was dying, would have said goodbye to his young wife - the love of his life. curiosity: in sicilian dialect the word caruso means (ragazzo) boy.

Thanks for the reaction. This music is a tribute by Lucio Dalla to the old opera singer Caruso. The lyrics are the dialogue of Caruso on his death bed to a girl he loved. Most people say that the girl was his girl friend, but i personally think it makes more sense if she is his daughter, although i may be wrong 😕. You should see the performance with the english lyrics or others that you can understand. They do had so much to the music. If you are interested there are many. You must to translate the lyrics and after then you'll fill the pain. It's song for love, deatly love. She singing " I love you very much, oh so very much, you know. It’s now a chain that melts the blood inside our veins, you know. " And this part of the song " He felt the pain in the music, he got up from the piano. But when he saw the moon come out from behind a cloud, even death seemed sweeter to him. He looked the girl in the eyes, those eyes as green as the sea. Then suddenly a tear fell, and he thought he was drowning.." When Lara sings everything else loses importance. She is the perfect Performer. She enters the song and plays it so that even if you don't understand the lyrics, you can feel everything. Pleasure for the ear, singing textbook, teacher of how a performer should present his songs. You should also hear Broken vow. This is also a wonderful song.

Please forgive me but I can't handle the english language very well. However Caruso Is a a song of Lucio Dalla an italian artist. There is a story behind this Song. One day Lucio Dalla broke is boat in front of Gulf of Sorrento. I Asked a friend for help and the friend was the owner of the hotel (Grand Hotel Excelsior Victoria) where Caruso (famous tenor of the past) died. The friend gave to Lucio the Caruso's room. At the same time chance willed that the barman of the restaurant "La Scogliera" tale to Lucio Dalla that Caruso had fallen in love with an unrequited love for a young girl to which he gave singing lessons. Shortly after, Caruso died. In his room Lucio found the piano that belonged to Caruso and inspired by this story began to play a few notes. A little later the song was ready.

She was born in Belgium, raised in Sicily. After a few more countries she settled in Montreal, Quebec. Covered by many artists. Dueted Pavorotti and composer Dalla. In my opinion, Lara Fabian owns this composition. Sung in Italian, not Spanish. DJ Wife was entirely correct. Watch other reviews and virtually everyone reacts with tears. Ms Fabian puts Celine Dion in a lower category. Canada has been fortunate.

In terms of delivery and performance, I am sure you agree that this performance by Lara is better. Danny, you're a guy and also a musician and thus rarely gets emotionally involved in situations unless you personally feel the hurt. Sometimes, and I think for a moment there, you switch to tune in with someone else, in this case your wife to pick up that emotion. I am totally in tune with everything you said about the song and Lara. I especially liked how you supported your wife, regardless of you. That is something so beautiful and much appreciated. I conclude saying that it was really good tuning in to your reaction. I like.

Danny, we come to your reactions because we love music. We need to have live shows, open theaters and other events. YOU CAN BE A MESSENGER. ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GET VACCINATED.. This song is sang by Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli. among others. Is a very old song. As always, I enjoy your reaction. 🙏💝

I think it is really worth listening to the song sung by its author, the great Lucio Dalla, one of the leading singers and author of Italian music of the last 50 years. Also this is a Great Performance‼️

Did your wife listened to "je suis malade" ? I would be curious to know if she had chills for it too :-) Other great song from Lara Fabian (that one is in english, that she speaks perfectly) : "Adagio", that song has some classical roots like "Caruso", I think your wife should like it too : kzread.info/dash/bejne/nH-osNeFd5jQcdI.html

Well I'm a swedish guy too and I got chills. Are you sure you are alive??😉 Okay okay I love metal and rough music as well so I'm not totally a soft jerk only, or am I??? 😨😲 Maybe you need some emotional breakdown (hope not) to really react emotional to this kind of music. Kind of turn off the brain and use another receiver for music. I think we react with our heart, brain and scrotum to music, the trick is to open up the gate for all of them. Best wishes from Stockholm! Bbtw, your best reaction as so far. Who is the cowboy beside you? 🤔😉
