In this clip, Matt Barnes explains his reasoning for suing his ex-wife, Gloria, before addressing some previous issues between his ex and his current girlfriend over their children. From there, Matt provides DJ Vlad with a little more clarity about his acquaintanceship with Derrick Fisher before declaring that the only celebrity he'd get in the ring with would be George Zimmerman.
Later in the interview, Matt Barnes talks about some of his upcoming projects and ventures, including season 4 of All the Smoke on Showtime and a multiyear deal with ESPN. Matt also touches on his new deal with the Sacramento Kings to provide pregame and halftime commentary while also revealing some of the work he’s doing in the cannabis space. For his long-term goals, Matt said he's looking to crossover into "overall media" like NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.
