Today Tiesto came to my work place and I had a handshake with him. I ask one question; Would you ever wanna become the old Tiesto like back to 2000's ? He said; No, cuz there would be very competitive. If he had ever done this, he wouldn't be where he is right now. The time is changing and he needs to change as well. That's what he said to me today. I was pretty upset to hear that but it was a great pleasure to meet with him. If he reads this comments I wanna tell you that again. Holy shit. I'm pretty sure the first three minutes of this was the last track on the Tiesto set that introduced me to proper electronic music, the set ended after that drop around 2:50. My friend burned me a copy back in 2001, we knew each other from our Spanish 2 class. He also introduced me to Initial D by burning me like the first few seasons that were out at the time, and we witnessed 9/11 during that class.

@Noelia Sanches creo que si. Recuerdo que cierto día de ese año compré un CD de música electrónica, hasta ese entonces no conocía muy bien que era Trance, Techno u otros generos electrónicos. Pero en el CD venia esta como otros temas clásicos donde en su mayoría eran de Tiësto. Desde entonces el Trance siempre ha sido el género que me llevó a amar la música electrónica, específicamente gracias a Tiësto.

He said; No, cuz there would be very competitive. If he had ever done this, he wouldn't be where he is right now. The time is changing and he needs to change as well. That's what he said to me today. I was pretty upset to hear that but it was a great pleasure to meet with him. If he reads this comments I wanna tell you that again. Holy shit. I'm pretty sure the first three minutes of this was the last track on the Tiesto set that introduced me to proper electronic music, the set ended after that drop around 2:50. My friend burned me a copy back in 2001, we knew each other from our Spanish 2 class. He also introduced me to Initial D by burning me like the first few seasons that were out at the time, and we witnessed 9/11 during that class.

first heard this via p2p program Ares. Used to be my JAM playing Starcraft: Brood War late at night. Now, it's my go to for playing late night League of Legends. I'll play this song at my funeral and have my casket spin and light up, if necessary.
God I remember going so hard to this in college haha We road a shuttle bus to get from our cars to campus and the driver would blast music like this. We would ride it every saturday for fun and hand out glowsticks to people and dance lmao We called it "Techno Bus". Man such good memories.

@Noelia Sanches creo que si. Recuerdo que cierto día de ese año compré un CD de música electrónica, hasta ese entonces no conocía muy bien que era Trance, Techno u otros generos electrónicos. Pero en el CD venia esta como otros temas clásicos donde en su mayoría eran de Tiësto. Desde entonces el Trance siempre ha sido el género que me llevó a amar la música electrónica, específicamente gracias a Tiësto.

@Noelia Sanches si, pero lo bueno es que fue inspiración para muchos otros que ahora lo están rompiendo. A pesar que la segunda edad de oro del trance fue en 2010-2014 ahora también hay super buenos productores que la siguen rompiendo.
