Best review of this mixer I’ve seen yet. Trying to figure it out.

I'm using it simply as a generic MIDI controller for Traktor, i.e. Maschine controls Traktor. Switch to MIDI mode by pressing SHIFT + CONTROL on Maschine itself. Peep my other Dubspot videos on mapping Maschine as midi controller for more info.

fader line fading. i am a custom painter there are some things to help that. have the face plate clear coated. auto clear coat can protect that.

I have the Pioneer DKM T1, using Macbook Pro, and Technics 1210s. I have tried everything I could to get this my music to play to complete failure. Internal mode allowed me to play directly from the Laptop, but external mode gave me nothing but a loud long beeping noise. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?? It's supposed to be as simple as plug and play. There is no wrong way to hook it up, right? I'm going into both phono inputs in the mixer, and Macbook through USB. Help please

did you not just follow the tutorial?..i setup in 30 mins..make sure you have the switches on the mixer set accordingly between USB/PHONO, and if you look at preferences in traktor >>check your inputs/outputs in that section. If that doesn't work then you need to go to the traktor folder and check the settings for djm-t1 there..failing these checks i would re-run the setup wizard..if in doubt the wizard is the key to getting things running :) At work now but can help more tomorrow if needs be!?

This made me buy Traktor Scratch Pro!

I have to go back and check that out. Traktor is he hardest software I've ever seen, and that mixer is difficult to learn also. I have to learn it though. I realy want to utilize the Echo FX. Hopefully I'll have it all situated before the month is out. Also, when I loaded my tracks into my Macbook Pro, which took like 4 days, my tracks didn't stay loaded in their folders. They all went into Tracks Collection seperately. How can I prevent that?? Thanks for the feedback also..Much appreciated

okay if I have two 1200s, a Traktor Kontrol Z2 and a Laptop, what else do I need to buy to get startet?

And Shiftee does it again. My only problem with this is that Malibu Barbie lives in California. That still makes the long distance relationship difficult. It's possible that Lil' Shiftee is being deceptive and has never even met the woman.

@dubspot Is it possible to use the lcd screens on a Maschine MK2 controller to see Traktor's library? i wanna use only the controller to look at and scroll through my tracklist and not have to look at my computer screen. any tips?

also, question about the pads you had on the maschine (pad drumming): can you talk about how you prepared the columns of bass notes? how did you get the 3rd column to sustain, compared to the 4th column which only played as long as they were held?
