DJ Paul on Yo Gotti & Dolph, Juicy J, Pimp C, Bone Thugs Diss (Full Interview)
Ойын-сауық
Three 6 Mafia member and legendary Memphis rap mogul DJ Paul sat on the Vlad couch to discuss a host of topics. He touched on his relationship with Juicy J and the Mafia being ahead of their time with the type of music they made, often references drug use and "devilish" themes. From there he revealed why the supergroup between them and UGK never happened. As well as a short-lived beef with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
The rapper talks about the accomplishments of nearly a three-decade-long career, winning an Oscar, investing his money, and how streaming services are beneficial to fans but ultimately hurts the artist. Watch the full interview above.

I'm 38 now ! Still got my cassette tapes and cd's from the 90's ! Growing up in Memphis off of 3-6 music, kept me off the streets because I always refused to take my headphones off !! Best bass lines ever !!

I have a strong appreciation for the musical contributions of Three 6 Mafia, and I hold DJ Paul in high regard as a respected colleague. He consistently demonstrates a calm and composed demeanor, effectively managing any challenges that may arise.
Damn good interview! 👍🏽
Holy hell this was cool to watch
Paul too smart for Vlad. I been listening to 3-6 for years! Paul is a smart man. Vlad tried tried to make Paul open up, but that mid-south is too strong. I'm from the mid-south and I can tell you that this is the best game anybody can have. The best of both worlds. Corporate and Street game intertwine so well down here. #MemphiSsippi

DJ Screw got shot in a club Vlad, Paul was thinking about Al Pacino who played the Devil in Devil’s advocate….but damn this was a good interview, I’m a fan of Paul’s music and since I saw him come on Fat Joe’s live after the VS. I became a fan of him as a person, Paul is a cool smart man….he found a great balance in life to success and doing what he loves, I think he was 3-6’s MVP at the VS where as Layzie Bone may have been Bone’s but Bizzy really knocked it out of the park on a few songs…to the point where you know you witnessing something special, I hope they do go back on tour together, all remaining members of both groups…I’d pay money to see it for sure…
