@@irpk239 to me, the idea of someone being 50 and listening to this stuff was unfathomable back in the day. Don't let size fool you. Speakers and box design have gotten a lot better in 30 years. I can get down to a solid 38Hz with my current car stereo and it uses tiny 6" drivers with very good boxes mounted behind the front of the front footwells. Sure, you don't feel it as much as you would with a larger driver but the sound is there. Haven't bothered measuring the SPL but it makes it above 105dB which is more than enough for me. I have hearing loss already so I don't need to add more to it.

My daughter is 18. When she turned 16 we bought her a 2013 Nissan Juke. I replaced all her factory speakers, stereo and added 10” powered under seat woofers. I dialed it all in and she played “her music” w bass. Nothing was hitting or working her new speakers. None of what she listens to had any worthy bass. I pulled out my phone w “MY SONGS” (IM 46) and played DJ Magic Mike, Nemesis and the like. That little Juke was thumping just fine. I think for the first time she was impressed by her old mans music. Lol Brought back good memories hearing this music again.

Exactly they’re hatin on shit they know nothin about. Here’s how it is nowadays, if everybody don’t like it or has thousands of thumbs up then they don’t like it but if everyone likes it and that’s the “new in music” then they’ll like it. They have absolutely no opinion of their own, none. They’re pathetic. If everyone was jumping off a clip then they literally would do the same thing. They’re a joke

Dayuuum good times! Two 18” s in my mini truck with sawblades. Lol. 80’s kid
My head lived between the 12"s through this whole album. A low masterpiece.
Its awesome to still see the love for DJ Magic Mike!! Orlando's greatest! #Flogrown
magic mike still killing
I was one of the 1st in my town to bump this!! After I came bumping to this at school and everyone heard it hitting hard, the other.few. bassheads wsnt and bought this. Ahhhhhh the cassette days 😂🤣
Grew up in Miami class of '86. That year I installed two EVm 18's in the trunk of a Caprice Classic, Concord Head Unit, Audio control parametric EQ, 2 HiFonics 1000W amps for the woofers, and a 4 channel Hifonics for mids and highs.I was bouncing 50 cent coins over a foot of the trunk!!!! Ahhhh the days.
Immediately takes me back to the early 90's
Damn... that bass still bout business in 2015.
