I now live in new zealand but was born and raised in the uk and was lucky enough to ve part of this, my heart is with this scene. Amazing❤❤❤

Simply the best set of the rave age. Not just the tunes, the mcs but the event , the people , the summer, the year, the days and months that followed abd the tape that everyone had cause they just wanted to be back there. These days will never happen again. Not in the same way. No mobile phones, no social media. Just good drugs, happy people and fucking good nights. I sit here in my car in New Zealand listening to the memories of that night and smiling with nostalgia at how lucky I was. “Fantasia.... who’s the fucking hardcore? Who , who . Who’s the fucking hardcore.” Happy days

@@bonesinho76 totally agree 92 was the best yr ever.. for me it was the 1st time I felt like I belonged... Catch people's eye, then smile and nod. We are all felling the same. Hard to do in a 300 people max club. Let alone a field full of thousands 🕺👯💃🕺

i know a lot of acid heads will hate this but, 1992 was the best year for the rave scene and the musical directions it took, just a shame so much division arose from it, because the scene was fucking banging in 1992, dj could spin jungle, jungle techno, techno and hardcore together in one set and also throw in a couple of classics from 91 and everyone would lap that shit up. Magical days eh, kids today dont know fuck all lol

Never got over how quickly the music changed between this and Donnington just over two months later, particularly the tempo. This will always be the best Fantazia event for me.

Fantasia Ellis Dee with MC MC is one of my favourite sets

By far my best rave and what made it special was also the hottest day of the year

These MC performances live in my head forever. The blown-out sound of this taping is absolutely the definitive version for me.

Never got to experience the Hardcore scene in England as I live in Australia. However, we got our hands on a few tapes and this was one of them. We banged it for years in our Ghetto Blasters, Walkman's, and Stereos. Love how all the MCs are getting their last two bobs in and the crowd... Whoop... Puts a BIG smile on my face listening to this set. Ripp rr Ripp Ripp Ellis Dee.

27 years ago and still one of the best nights of my life . My first ever rave that I went to and handy as I lived in Bournemouth at the time too .. the youth of today missed out and will never understand

Best summer ever 1992 , back when I was 16 , this set was one of the best & well known from that year , we loved it , went to my first rave a couple months later and still do 26 years later , just I don’t do as much drugs now ,

I was there!!!! Was one he'll of an epic night. One for the history books of the time. Ellis Dee rocked the age xxxxx

This rave was the pinnacle of happy rave! For me everything started going downhill. The place didn't know what hit them, licensed for 8k but 12k plus turned up with tickets and the police said let them in. People jumping the fences, crazy! I was doing the lasers, did a big rave every weekend, nothing compared to this!

One of the all time great sets, and reading the comments from people not giving Ellis the credit he deserves I think a few villages population may have been down by 1.

The one stark memory from this event was seeing everyone's faces when the sun came up and thinking "Fuck, look at the state of these people...., they need to go home?!??" I was fine..., of course!!! 😜💊😷

This set is truly amazing what a great set it should have a million+ views what a gem What is the last track at the end fuckin beautiful Elis dee couldn't of chose a better track to finish off a mega rave that will live on in those who went for life it's hard to believe this set is 0700-0800 am and the rave is still rammed packed ,mc ribbz even warns the ravers to go home and not look for free party's after fuckinhell!!,must been awesome ecstasy then lol ,I seen the video footage I'm well jealous I was only 7 in 1992 one word...gutted lol

So many amazing venues back then, rollers , rocket paradise , dungeons,club uk, hippadrome , Astoria , Shelly's Camden palace , kink street so many different one every week different town on a mway spangled bumping into mates in services all over, I wanna go back

Best rave of 92, in my humble opinion... yes, Fantazia Donington had nigh on 30,000 in attendance, and Vision smashed it out of the park with 40,000, but both of those were nowhere near as good musically as this, nor had the good weather!

Phantasy is the best set for me. He had the best mc's on his set not that I don't love Mad P and Robbie Dee but nothing beats Joe Peng and Jack Horner and there adopted brother Ribbz

I didnt hear any of them but at the same time I don't remember the music, But it was a fucking banging night...rubharbs and custards!!

Recording Been speeded up I was there it was a lot slower and better

well i was at this rave it was my best rave.I agree ellis dee wasn't up there with the likes of bukem, Randall,mickey finn etc but must say this set finished the night off nicely.Respect fantazia

I beg to differ Roy AKA Ellis Dee was a pioneer of this scene and helped create something special he was and still is one of the best a true legend he wasn't called the captain for nothing , and a really nice and funny guy

Best period before the split. Not happy just hardcore. And when music was pure. Music got too happy and too dark. it was fine just where it was. Balanced

Its a strange thing that happened all those main fantazia djs fell by the way side for whatever reason. Top Buzz, Easygroove, Ratty and Ellis Dee. Weren't happy hard-core but weren't jungle/drum and bass either. By 95 they were just about gone
