g chea A lot of what’s going on here is remixes/mashups, heavy use of effects and cueing, tactile scratching on vinyl, etc. Not saying this to diminish the set one bit (it’s fantastically done, creative, and highly entertaining!), but to point out that on some of the more entry level controllers can do all of this but it will take more practice and experience, not necessarily more expensive or different equipment. Not only you managed to learn all those skills, but you reached the point that you can do it live, in front of a huge crowd and still be relaxed and have fun while doing it. That´s something else. I´m a producer and I dj live in local clubs here in Argentina. A very important part of skills I apply when djings were learn here, from you. NOPE it's just that precise. Gotta have all those timings and keys either matching or harmonized. Harmonizing has to be my favorite way for a blend.

This man is a hero. He showed that being a DJ is more than just doing good drops and transitions. Here we are not in Tomorrowland. Those 15 min of artistic creation can be seen as a “chef d’œuvre” representing what human being is musically capable of, and should be saved in a USB key, sent to the space. Hoping for extraterrestrials to find it, so that they can learn to appreciate the state of art with DJing, and of course the StarWars-Usher from Philippins 🙌🏼

Ummm…. That was shocking. I’ve seen a few of your reviews and tutorials but damn… this set was amazing. DJs can battle and DJs can mix, but to do both and get the crowd to move and with a set like that is unheard of. Mixing genres and catering to different styles and under pressure like that and to execute like that is so bad ass. Your energy and enthusiasm for DJing is beyond most DJs. You can tell you love music. Filipino American here and when I saw that flag busted out, that was a different level of representing man… bad ass! Keep doing your thang. It was a masterpiece of song choice, scratching, being original, creative mixing, control and a true display for the art of DJing. I’ve been DJing since I was 5 took a break for a long time and came across your vids and made me get that itch, and this now has made me realize how much DJs/turntablisrs have evolved so much. The genius of this set is that i think the DJ had a little song for each of the Judges. I think. here's what I caught. He had Imperial March for Skratch Bastid. He had the Batman theme for Dj Jazzy Jeff. Can't Hold Us for Four Color Zack. and stratight samples of Z-Trip talking. Am I missing anything?

Been watching DJ World championships since I was a kid. Was lucky enough to be at the 1998 Technics DMC US finals at Irving Plaza, NYC watching DJ Craze take the title. Growing up watching Kings Like "Craze" "Shortkut" "Beatjunkies" "Roc Raida" but God damn DJ Carlo! That's some of the finest beat juggling, scratch mixing, sample pad playing I've seen. Big respect! And nice touch by giving back to the world with DJ tutorials for future generation DJ's 👏👏👏👏

Das ist ja mal ein richtig geiler DJ einer der sich mit Vinyl richtig gut auskennt und nicht immer diese langweiligen mp3 Deejays Musik Qualität sollte auf jeden Fall im Vordergrund stehen und die Übergänge waren einfach gut gewesen
