DJ Akademiks Reacts to XXXTentacion's Tragic Death, RIP Jimmy Wopo | Everyday Struggle

Ойын-сауық

On today's #EverydayStruggle, DJ Akademiks, Nadeska, and Wayno reacted to XXXTentacion's tragic death after the 20-year-old rapper was shot and killed in Florida in a suspected robbery on Monday afternoon. The emotional episode features Akademiks sharing some thoughts on his personal relationship with XXXTentacion and the entire crew weighed in on the effect of street violence that comes with the hip-hop culture. Later, the crew reacted to the tragic death of Pittsburgh rapper Jimmy Wopo and why the entire situation is so sad. Ak, Wayno, and Nadeska wrapped the show talking about Meek Mill's latest court date and the major issues the judge on his case is causing by not removing herself from the situation.

King Savage The kid made mistakes no question and I’m not defending his actions at all. But you have to take into the account that he was bipolar as well as an addict so he was far from perfect. I truly believe he deserved and was going to eventually serve jail time for his crimes without question, but the dude didn’t deserve to be brutally murdered like he was. I mean it’s not like he committed rape or murder so he was far from a lost cause and deserved a chance at trying to redeem and change himself for the better.

And he beat that girl. Don't make an excuse. Too little too late. It's called karma. Pathetic. Changing for the better is a process. Years to show and prove. He was scared for that case bc he knew he did it was looking at some heavy time. You would never cosign a dude like this who wasn't who he was. No integrity.

Jay Logan well initially you can say every human being has their faults to a degree in life which comes with consequences although regardless it isn't so much pathetic of an excuse to reason with its just logical , and I'm not no spiritualist but karma isnt really validated in this situation I mean look at 69 in this instance this dude has been going crazy all year long starting beefs for no reason even at some point went Insta live stating "If no one kills me in 48 hours, y'all are pussies" this is a similar reason to your statement. and yet instead of him dying X does who you were stating was "Chilling" even doing charity events at that, so where's the karma in that? Not very reliable. Shit just happens accordingly so we can disregard abnormalities such as that phenomenon and also going back to that case you can relate an opinion from a third source since its your freedom right but realistically you don't know either individuals of what actually happened so making it seem like he got what he deserved isn't really proving anything in that statement, in fact you kind of sound and come off like a prejudice hater But regardless of your hate towards an individual disrespect on the dead is still disrespect, if only certain humans could understand that level of courtesy then maybe the ignorance in society wouldn't be so corrupted with such public perception

Well i can already see where your mentality is at seeing as though you are assuming my race to further make it seem like it validates your arguement so for the fun fact let me just point out that im not a "white folk" but a "black folk" now im pretty sure I stated this previously to the other gentlemen as far as abnormalities and phenemon goes which in his case was karma, yours seems to be a spiritual demon tagged along side an elitist group mentioned as the illuminati, your point though somewhat contradicts your statement in that instance it would also make Tupac a "Devil worshiper" as well since the public's perception of your subject is that "every show business is involved with a cult of devil worshipers" and you can claim it or try to justify it as much as you want but it would be a biased opinion in the end, again though the fact is a young man was killed which in this case wouldnt be a correct way to speak such faults, and saying such matters such as a charity event has nothing to do with his cause of death is very realistic but speaking that "nobody cared" or "you saw through that" is a personal opinion because realistically everyone involved to that program as well as his fans that showed support "cared" so thats out the window, and again with the case and everything he was still awaiting trial so if you want to use that as the excuse for his destiny he still wasnt proven guilty so when you say you dont hate and use that statement I tend to figure otherwise, but like I said before Disrespect on the dead is still disrespect on the dead, hopefully people become more aware of this instead of being ignorantly fixed on the situation especially for the fact that "Niggas die everyday" welcome to the real world neo

Jenkz 2timez To be fair it's the same thing photographers do. Many of the most famous photos were created because someone just pulled out the camera when they probably shouldn't have. Think of it this way. If they didn't video it, we wouldn't have any idea what of exactly happened. It wasn't like they could do anything anyway. They would have only did more harm if they did try to move his body without being professionals.

Not even kendrick has inspired a whole new generation because he does a sound that we've heard millions of times before, just done extremely well, this new sound wouldn't be anywhere near as prominent if not for X

RileyEskobar Ak did add fuel to the fire. As much as I used to be entertained by those videos in high school as I've gotten older I realized his platform did elevate things in Chicago. A lot of the people in those videos probably felt they had to retaliate when they were being attacked/ dissed by people in their city. On top of that when Ak would highlight some situations in his videos he made it to where the issue couldn't just fizzle out like it would have before. I'm not saying he's responsible for the deaths but he played his part. In a fairy tale land Ak can make his videos and just have it be that but it effected real people. Your actions have consequences.

The passion this man put in his music and the hope he had in the youth and his peers. Dawg I never experienced an artist like him. When he passed I deadass cried cause I know I didn't personally know him but I felt like I did. That shit hurts man. He gave niggas an outlet feeling sad feeling angry feeling wild feeling anything he was an outlet. And I just wanna thank him for giving us what he did while he was living.

Akademiks perpetuates the violence everyday and instigates beef, then when someone gets hurt in real life he doesn't feel any responsibility.
