BEAUTIFUL!!! Beyond words, actually. It's vintage Dizzy in his unique and stellar perfomance. A true virtuoso of the horn and who's able to manipulate and bend it to his multi-phonal will; be it just an up- tempo rendering with Be-bobish bent or an enduring and bluesy ballad, it all has a patent Dizzisque element. Meanwhile, the listener is in the classic grip of Jazz Modernity...
