I sewed a thin sleeve of lycra that I put on the tail before I added the spandex layer. Helped smooth out the curves

Wish I had enough for a tail.. I've wanted a tail like that for Target from Vanishing World but I have barely anything and i never catch commissions open! But this is still real cool to look at :)

Correct. I removed it a while ago to update it, as there was quite a bit of poor advice and pretty embarrassing editing in it.

This looks amazing! Is the construction similar to your shark tail tutorial? I'm assuming the base had to be 100% smooth

Very similar, but the shape had to be tweaked and an extra layer kf fabric added to keep it super smooth.

I can do just about any color, pattern, and shape (within reason of gravity). As for price, it varies on the design. But a simple 1 color usually runs about $500

How much do your motion tails go for and how does one order? I really love your tails and other DIY costumes.

Tutorial please please pleaseee! This swishyness is perfect for a character I plan on making (I finally have decided to have a go at making a fursuit myself)

@@HamburburCat Oh I get plenty here too. The main difference is that I work on filtering comments and removing the horrid comments. Part of being a content creator is to monitor the comments on your work. If others don't want to do that, perhaps they should seek another profession.
