Feel like I got a podcast's worth of information on Dizzee from this because he talks at 1.5× normal speed 😂

Mitch gave flowers. Yo Mitch your a g bro showed respect and gave man some serious answers to questions I had for dizzie
This is the best episode because you can clearly see and feel Mitch knows his history and was really there seeing everything. As a grime fan from then too it was a great time for uk music and mad to think artists struggled to break America then & the ones that did were seen as sellouts changing the music. Really it was the smart thing to do but we were all hooked on grime in the uk
Dizzee and Wiley are two best mcs and most important to uk culture
This is a UK legend right here 🔥🔥
Im so glad dizzee mentioned Dogzilla !!! This guy was a legend, met him back in like 2009 maybe earlier, his a real legend!!
Man. The right guy did this interview. I think Dizzee was overwhelmed by the realness

Among sneakerheads Dizzees Nike are legendary, which is why they both sell for thousands of dollars.
Air max 90s is a iconic legendary trainer I still rock them in 2024
King Dizzee, my GOD, so Dizzee produced all those hits. He released those monster hits independently WOW. Iconic more than we knew. I am going to stream that new album. Congrats Dizzee.

One of the best episodes EVER!!!!!🎉❤
When Dizzie says he was independent during the Dance with me and Bonkers era. At that time, he truly was the "Boy in the corner". Kano, JME, Chip, Dizzie, Skepta, and Wiley were the originals. Facts.
Love that he mentioned Wiley’s name a few times! Respect that

I remember seeing Dizzee open for The Streets in DC. Then I met him - in an empty ass bar St. Ex after the show, when he wasn't old enough to be there. What a time!

So many gems dropped in this by him. When hes talking about Spliffy. Oh my days
1:49 Bee Dubs were already a style icon in the graff scene here in Australia since they first hit the scene. Glad you could finally join us 😂

There has never been anything as grimey as when diz used to produce those mad beats.. big up spyro n that for all the oriental style beats that had there own vibe that u could listen to without mcs but raskit had somethin mad different, real dark choppy beats went so wellwith his voice

31:48 raskit aint lying, i went in there 2 years ago, its like another kick game but just in bethnal green. I actually need to go back there at some point. There’s something similar in harlesden also and shepherds bush market (uxbridge road). They’re everywhere really.
Work!
Realist lyric for me in his new one is when he says how did I stay so calm this long. (Raskit knows himself)

damn the streets and dizzee on a show would be crazy esp on a us tour
My respect levels for Dizzee just sky rocketed for mentioning Gambia in the Benachin(What Gambians and Senegalese call Jollof) talks. It originated in Senegal though, Jollof was made by the Wolof people it's literally in the name. Ghanaians and Nigerians try do the colonizer ting and act like they're the end all and be all smfh. + Gambia just won the last worldwide competition Shoutout Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cameroon as well
"shoutout to drill" 🤣
I didn't know dizzee produced thats dope
Him and crazy titch's beef was prime grime era
Dizzee’s smart man! Bonkers days was independent! He don’t get his shine still. The whole bm drama lowkey pushed him to comeback and go out strong i reckon
interviewer could not wait for this one to be over lol
Should of found a picture of the Tounge and Cheek album air max 90s he had made up and put a picture up of it when spoke about. Video slipped there. 25 mins of talking and not zoomed in to any trainers he liked properly. Another slip there. Apart from that loved it. 🫶🏼

I remember watching him and nasty crew performing in Stratford Rex 2002, no one new how anyone looked thise days, these man were radio famous to most of us. None the less couole pple got stabbed that night , some things never change.
I feel sorry for people born 2000s onwards. Missed so many influential guys. The episode, unreal.
You need Wiley on here next I can’t lie.

Nah we legit need a biopic. Or docu-series. Although Grime Kids is good for now. The next gen need to see how impactful Grime Culture really is.
GHETTS !
Definitely John boyega to play him
