I made three pair of compasses, 500 mm, 250 mm and 100 mm, about 25 years ago. Much the same as yours. Thanks for the video. Jon

Hi how did you make that planer, would love to make one, my disability in my hands or one of my disability's I find it hard to use a planer strate out of the box if you know what I mean so making your planer would be such a help to me. If you could give me the link that would be great.

Poinçon central pour le marquage, je l'ai fait à partir d'un outil d'impact de réseau. vis pour serrer le stylo merci...

en anglais le mot bousolle se dit compass mais en français le mot compas est pour dessiner des cercles.
Es un compás no una brújula , En ingles brújula se dice compass de allí la falsa coincidencia
Ah là là les traduction Google (^_^) c'est vrai qu'une boussole est aussi appelé compas( en navigation et orientation) mais dans le cas présent le terme en français est : compas bon on s'habitue la traduction Googlelienne de rabot (plane en anglais) deviens avion (sukoi, mig mirage, boeing etc (°_O)
Cela s'appelle un compas!

Ray Duffill : Stop NITPICKING! (“the practice of meticulously searching for minor, even trivial errors in detail” - from Wikipedia).Both uses are correct. Compass is more commonly used.

@@klave8511 It's due to the lack of suitable words in the english language. There are different words in other languages for both of these things that differentiate much better.

No KOMPASS = but: ZIRKEL!!! Engl.: compass = german: Kompass But Engl.: compasses = german: Zirkel
