Working on one of these right now with driftwood my 11 year old son got me from the incline hike in CO he went on with his dad a few months ago. You are very insightful and inspiring to watch!

Thanks Sara! Kids are great for bringing home treasures!
I love that design! Definitely gonna try this!
I was in Petco this morning and they have all sizes of driftwood to be used for aquariums. Some of them would be perfect for this project.
I have a piece of Harvey driftwood, now I know what to do with it. Very cool!

Thanks sweet Terry!
I think that would look cool as a hanging planter, just put eye hooks on each side, string it up with a chain, or even jute. You could even wrap the jute around the branch we’re the eye hooks are for alittle interest. I would definitely hang it so you can still look kinda down to see the rosettes 🏵. Maybe more dangle succulents ☺️. So many possibilities 💡. I definitely need to try this out, just need a cool branch. Thanks for the tips. 💜🌸🌺

Oohhh, I like that! Very creative. I'd like to try it. We have one great looking driftwood but a carpenter bee burrowed into it and has made it his home. I think it might be too soft anyway but I'll have to find something to make it work, I love it. Thank you!

Thank you!! It sounds like the bee is helping you w/ the drilling lol! :D
Love it. I'll have to keep my eyes out for a good piece of wood for myself to do this project. I can see all haworthia cuttings in mine. It will be so cute! Also, girl, your hair is goals. I'm sure you use products, diffuse it and take time. Me= frizz>>>>ponytail, lazy, straighten, repeat.

That will be very cute!! And thank you haha! I had just washed it when I started the potting portion of the vid and you can see it dry and get bigger by the end 😂

just looked at it again. I was referring to the "bigger" hair, as you describe, towards the ends. The curls are so defined but the overall look is so natural. I'd have to use products!
hi ANDREA,great video, really enjoyed it,would like to try doing one myself

Andrea, Is there a way to fix etiolated new born prop babies? I had then in a window sill so they wouldn't get scorched, but now they're coming out of the leaf all long..

Just try giving them more light so they start getting bigger. Then you can top them down the road so they'll get thicker stems again :)
Hello! have a question about watering the plants after project is done. I would need to remember to protect the surface each time i water the plants because of the drainage holes. right? thank you !!

Would you always put in drainage holes, even for an indoor piece? And should you seal the inside of your ‘pot’ as people do with wooden planters?
@SucsForYou
4 жыл бұрын
Honestly the drainage holes are probably not needed for something this shallow but I always err on the side of caution :) I wouldn't really worry about sealing for the same reason - shallow should dry so quick it wouldn't matter.
Pretty! 🌸I need A drill gun👍
