DIY with Heath Burley - How to make a beer can coping ledge
Heath is back and this time we're putting our alcoholism to good use.
We're making a beer can coping ledge.
You don't have to make a ledge, you can attach the coping to any spot you want to (we discuss this as well).
These things are always a work in progress.
We're not professional builders (obviously), but it's good to share some of the knowledge we're acquiring in real time.
We also hope it's a bit motivational for anyone that's ever wanted to build a spot.

Yup some supplemental material
Your commitment to wearing a vest with 105 degrees is inspirational. Style icon ♥️
Andrew in the back just smirking like a goblin and shaking his while Heath was explaining what concrete glue was had me going. Definitely tell this is a group of great friends 😂
Like a boss, after laboring in the treacherous heat for days, Texas boy, Heath Burely, laces a sick jon elliot Esque Fishbrain, all steeze no fucks. That tutorial was tight.
This beer can method looks like an excellent way to make a curved corner ledge.
🙌🏻🙌🏻Heath you’re a legend! 105 degree human sacrifice for the cause. And a quick sesh to finish it off👏🏻 the park needs an official naming ceremony the Jumbo- Heath Burley DIY 🎉. Thanks Boys for the content and the commitment. Just can’t get enough Jumbo!!!

I'm gutted the concept of DIY spots doesn't really exist in Scotland. I'd fucking love to get creative and start building shit 😂😂
Awesome idea..!! I'd prob leave a bigger gap in between the bolt and inside of the can tho.. like 2/3rd' of 3/4s of the way to limit the possibility of voids where the concrete couldn't fully settle in. It'd prob reduce weak spots on the inside too.. or maybe i just like to overthink everything 😅
Love it boys 🙌
Heath is lDIY legend!
New Jumbo!! Let's go!

Even though i’ll never build one myself I really enjoyed watching the process. Looks like it will slide beautifully when broken in!
Keep it up. I can't wait to see the park develop. Heath inspired me to build my own little manual box out of my scrap wood and some ABS pipe. I nominate the park name be Burley Bay in honour of our build captain
