DIY with Heath Burley - How to make a beer can coping ledge

Heath is back and this time we're putting our alcoholism to good use.
We're making a beer can coping ledge.
You don't have to make a ledge, you can attach the coping to any spot you want to (we discuss this as well).
These things are always a work in progress.
We're not professional builders (obviously), but it's good to share some of the knowledge we're acquiring in real time.
We also hope it's a bit motivational for anyone that's ever wanted to build a spot.

This beer can method looks like an excellent way to make a curved corner ledge.

I'm gutted the concept of DIY spots doesn't really exist in Scotland. I'd fucking love to get creative and start building shit 😂😂

Awesome idea..!! I'd prob leave a bigger gap in between the bolt and inside of the can tho.. like 2/3rd' of 3/4s of the way to limit the possibility of voids where the concrete couldn't fully settle in. It'd prob reduce weak spots on the inside too.. or maybe i just like to overthink everything 😅

Keep it up. I can't wait to see the park develop. Heath inspired me to build my own little manual box out of my scrap wood and some ABS pipe. I nominate the park name be Burley Bay in honour of our build captain
