To get the custom confetti to stick in the clear balloons, add a few drops of clear school glue to the inside of the uninflated balloon. Massage the glue around the inside. The add the confetti and inflate.

Beautiful arch!!. I have a few questions about your technique. Are you inserting the balloons through the non adhesive side of the tape? I am assuming that the adhesive side of the tape is what you are using to attach to the pallet? Or do you use additional items for reinforcing the tape (with the balloons) to the pallet? So just a clarification on how you are attaching the tape strips with the balloons to the pallet? And in other to create the arch effect, are you putting strips of tape (with the balloons inserted) the entire horizontal and vertical lengths of the pallet? Thank you!

Hi Gloria, so neither side of the tape strip should be sticky. When I made my 4ft tape strips I made sure to connect the two sticky sides of tape facing each other this will eliminate one side being sticky because the balloons will most likely keep getting stuck to it. I used two push pins to attach it to the pallet. Even though the balloon banner looks huge it's super light in weight. Yes I built the banner first by making 4 foot strips of tape than attached balloons to them than connected all my 4ft sections with more tape. At this point I had one long piece of tape with balloons (my banner) than to attach it to the pallet I simply attached it to the pallet with a few push pins right though the tape and let the rest of it hang off. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have anymore questions 😊

Hi! I was wondering how long before an event can this be made/ how long will the balloons hold up?

I have seen so many videos and yours is just simple and to the point I love it. My party is going to be outside should I buy something to protect them from popping ? What type of balloons do you recommend, and should i night prior or day of? Just want none of them to pop or it to be a complete fail :/ thank you in advance

Awe thank you Cynthia I'm so glad like it. Our party was outside as well. I aired up the balloons the morning of the party and they shrunk a tiny bit so I would definitely do the day of the party. As far as what type of balloons I just got regular party balloons from the party decor store. To get mine to the party I attached the balloons to 4 feet section strips and stuffed them in my car. This helped a lot rather than having to attach all the balloons at the party. None popped.

This pallet was actually a friends I didn't make it. I believe they own a shipping company which would explain where they got the giant pallet. :D

I love your Happy Birthday sign. I want to make a Merry Christmas sign for my decorations this year. I was thinking about ordering wooden lettering from 48hr. Monogram on Amazon. For the size I want it will cost me close to $100 w/ shipping. Now that I see how awesome your free hand letters came out I'm going to try it out myself. I did the balloons the day of the party. Early morning. Make sure and make them full size. Mine shrunk a little even though it was a few hours before the party.

Yes any plastic tape should work great. I did 4 ft sections and at the end once all my tape pieces were connected my balloon garland was about 12 ft long.

Awe thanks girl. Man I wish I would of counted LOL from what I recall I had two packs of 70 balloons that were 11" and 1 pack of 50 balloons that were 5" That's all the balloons we aired up but I didn't use them all. I think about 15 were left over. That total length of my balloon garland I believe was a about 12 ft long maybe a bit shorter. My pallet was 8ft in height. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I think 11 or 12 inch should work fine. As long as you have the 5 inch as well to fill in the gaps. :)

Not sure what you mean by garland? I made a tape strip punched holes in it and attached balloons to the tape which created a long balloon garland. Then to attach it to the wood I simply used push pins.

Oh man I don't know for sure because we didn't get to use all the ones we blew up. We went through about two 70 packs and used about 3/4 of the balloons we blew up. It will really depend on if you want more of the tiny balloons as well. :)

Oh no I never tried that. I would probably use thin PVC pipes if I was to make. Stick them into two buckets of concrete on each side and spray paint them copper or color of your choice. Or create a square shaped arch and attach flowers to it. I would use floral wire to attach the flowers to the pipe.
