This is by far the cleanest rack solution. I'm going to build it. Thanks!

Thanks for another great idea. Inspired me to do the same but i added some heavy duty castor wheels so i could move them (2x toaster racks) around the gym (in the corner when not using and to the rack/deadlift area or wheel them outside when the weather's good). Your channel has inspired me to make so many items for my gym.

Thanks! To be honest it is kind of a boring build, I had to do something to make it more exciting. My kids helped me make the intro, it was a lot of fun. The trick shots took forever but they were totally worth it.

Such a cool channel idea. I DIY'ed my own toaster rack for exxentric flywheel plate storage (total PIA, overpriced AF organization pieces from exxentric). I simply used a spare crash cushion to dig some custom fit grooves for the various inertia rated plates, labeled with silver auto touch up paint pen. Snug fit, no scratch, marring whatsoever and zero balance issues.

Thank you! When I started this channel I wasn’t sure if people would like it or not. I’m amazed at how much it has grown. It’s great because I love the challenge that comes along with figuring out DIY versions of commercial equipment. Do you have a picture of your toaster rack? I’d love to see it.

@@KaizenDIYGym Check out home gym hack and reviews. AC has some great ideas/inspirations for DIY equipment builds. I'm thinking of doing some custom build cable accessories (daisy chains, d-handles, lat pulldown bar). No pics right now; I'm still making last minute additions to my home gym build (just moved into a my first house a few months ago)

My lazy, cheap version was to buy a bike rack. It doesn't fit as perfectly as this, but it did the job. That being said, if my wife let me loose on tools, I'd give this a try (and potentially lose a finger)

Hi dude. Another great video and build. I've had to wall mount my bumpers; I bought Eleiko XF plates (they're f*****g lush), but they're between 58mm-87mm wide (2.28-3.42" in your money) so they're too fat to store on the deck - otherwise I would def build this rack. Keep up the awesome content. I'm spreadig the word about you in the UK, you'll be at 100K before you know it. Namaste x

2:50 the dimensions here are good ONLY IF you also bevel the back rail like you do the front. I don’t think you mentioned beveling the back rail but later in the video you can see you added a bevel there as well. Edit: ok I see you did bevel all 4 pieces. It is 100% necessary to bevel both the front and the back or else the cutout dimensions will not work.

I like the design for the bumper storage, the video would benefit from the addition of metric measurements
