The best part is it can double as a gallows when guests get out of line or the marriage goes south. Truly a multi-purpose marvel

Buajajajajaja😂😂😂😂😂 lol
Thanks for the great arbor plans. I just built one for my son's wedding. I did kind of overbuild it. Used 4x4s for the legs, and added a arched piece of red cedar over the top. It came out fantastic. Thanks again.😅
Nice to see a super simple build for us guys who don’t have all the fancy gear.
It came out beautiful and so happy for you guys . God Bless this union.
I like the way you show what you're going to build at the beginning. Excellent Job!
Thanks so much for this video! I used a slightly modified version of this for my own wedding and a family member loved the look so much they're borrowing it for their wedding too!
I love it. As a part time wedding officiant I should definitely make one of these. But I think I might paint mine white.
The simple jobs for me usually turn out the best ones! Nicely done Chris 👊🏽
Awesome. Will be following your vid for our wedding in August. Thanks for the efficient video!
Congratulations 🎊🍾 Love this, you made it look so easy!
Congratulations and you did a beautiful job.
Very nice job Chris. I really like this design. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. Don't die. God bless.

Great video, thanks
Congratulations - nice build.
Excellent job,,,
Congrats!
Well done!
Nice work
Great video and build. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Congratulations! Here's to a long and happy life together. 🍰🍻
My daughter is getting married next Saturday and would love to build this arch
Nice!
Excelente, saludos cordiales desde Tepic Nayarit México
We all know a gantry when we see it! =D Congratulations
They are a little bit hard to find, but there are plug cutters that cut a tapered plug. This has several uses, it can fit a variety of hole sizes, but also if you have some blowout, it can be good for hiding that
Congrats .... new subscrip !!
looks great Im building one. Ill post Here by november wedding
With all the flowers on it, looks like you could have just bent a piece of rebar lol.
God bless your marriage! Good job!
Neat! I wouldn't even have known about these types of projects before reading about them in Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible, If I’m not istaken he’s still looking for proof readers.
WOW! Can you ship it to me next?!
This thing is awesome! Quick question for you: I saw that the link for the Montana plug cutters comes with a set of three at 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". How did you decide which size cutter to use for your plugs? Very cool video, great gob!
After watching the video I downloaded the plans. They were quite helpful but I must point out a significant error in them. Both sheets state that the top of the arch requires 2 x 6 material. I purchased this and partly constructed the arch. Material that thick and heavy made the completed arch very heavy and also a bit top heavy. In the video I later noticed that the material being used is actually 1 x 6 not 2 x 6. There is no need for 2 x 6 material at the top and I suggest that the plans be corrected.

Great minds think alike I guess. I printed the plans and saw that very same thing. Watched the video again very carefully to confirm he used 1 x 6 pieces for the header. Then came to the comments to see if anybody else caught that and sure enough.
I would love to build this for my wedding, and I went on the site to download the plans but couldn’t actually find the link to download. Could you post it?
Would you use pressure treated or regular if your staining?
Can you make on that can be split evenly when broken down, afterwards. Seems like this one will be 60/40-ish. Welding arch was what I read, I wanted going in, instead I got wedding & appointment to get eyes checked.
Do you have the drawings with measurements and supplies?
Hello! How umuch did this turn out to be for you?
I am building this off of your plans. The top seems short can you confirm the length of the to piece please
Is the blocking between you 1x6 just glued in place to the front piece?
How long were those carriage bolts, 8" vs 10" just curious
were can i get the drawings for my supply list
Just learned that toescrewing is a thing. Doesn't matter what kind of fastener you use around here. If it goes in at that angle it's toenail. Ha ha.
For diy arbor. Top 2x6’s or 1x6’s? Video shows 1x6. Plans show 2x6.
how much to build and ship one to 43110 ohio?
11:32 OK, I had to rewind to figure out the timeline 🤣
Could you send me the specs
In the video you say the arch is 1x6 material but the plans call out 2x6. Which would you recommend? Thanks

@@roccaburro you made it with the 2x6? What did you think of it? I just realized he said 1x myself after buying 2x material

@@SuScott I used 1x6 … didn’t want to make it too heavy
Don’t use many coats of varnish.
Good for a gallows if things don’t work out.
Looks like a gallow
Where the hell are the measurements???

If you don’t ask the question you may never get an answer
Your plans show a 11 1/16 bottom angle piece. In your video they are completely different. Your video shows entirely differently then your plans. Really important to show your viewers exactly what’s happening cuz the 11 1/16 blocks suck
I urgently need a bow for the 24th of this month and I still can't find someone to do it and although we have my uncle's tools I don't think I'll be able to do it 🥲
Nice!
