They work well - they give a nice glow. The ones with crystal give off some pretty shadows against the wall after dark. For most of them, I show the sconces powered on after dark in the video ... after each craft is completed. If not, I would be happy to share pics as well.

How do you change the battery in it

I'm not sure which wall sconce, you're referring to but if you're using string lights, there is a tiny battery compartment that you can open to change it. As long as you keep the battery compartment accessible, you can take it out to change it. Same thing if you're using a puck light (open from the back). Hope this helps. The Dollar Tree sells string lights but I prefer the ones I found on Amazon. If you would like the same ones, I have a link in the video's description box to my Amazon store which contains curated lists of my favorite crafting supplies and tools.
