The mirror came out great! My eyes were focused on that beautiful area rug, too! Great style and very tasteful! Don't sleep on thrift stores! Usually the old stuff is very well made compared to what you would find in the stores! Just remember, patience is a virtue and sometimes you have to keep looking to find the perfect "gem" in the rough! Thanks for sharing!

Brilliant!! I would NEVER have thought of adding hot glue dots to the frame for added texture! They look like hobbed nail heads. Really unique and beautiful, interesting result. Brilliant!!

Great job! At the craft stores, you can buy packages of strips of stick on half pearls in different sizes, close together, and use them to make the bumpy trim. I saw someone else here on YT do that. I’m just waiting for the right mirror to come along, then I’m going to try this.
