Drywall first, over time, the wood will start to get bendy😮

Interior walls usually don't have insulation. The perimeter of your home exterior walls will have insulation. You can install insulation if you'd like but usually the walls in your home will not have insulation

You could have stuffed old clothes or pillows in the wall to cut down on sound if you were too cheap to buy insulation. I did that on a remodel once in a house i sold..some dude will eventually find all my old clothes and think they hit the jackpot in 50 years. But yes it really works.

Absolutely no kind of insulation or sound dampening. lol

Around how much was the total for the ship lap used?

For our almost 10ft wall, we used 25 shiplap boards and it cost us about $213 for the shiplap. With the crown molding and new baseboard, the accent wall was about $268 total to complete.

​@@roseperez1221this is the new cheap version of paneling. It's for people too cheap to buy and hang Sheetrock. Costs time to tape and mud and these folks are not having any of that.

Question, why is there no insulation? I’m assuming the other side is interior as well, but wouldnt you want some kind of sound dampening?
