Extra Credit - Cover: Unsolder the connections, slip on 2 sizes of shrink tube (one the size of the the cord, one the size of the pcb), resolder and wrap the pads/connections in Kapton tape. Next apply hot glue over the connection point and wires, then QUICKLY wrap another wide piece of kapton tape around the hot glue to mold the connection into a shape that can protect the wires. Remove the outer kaptop tape used to mold the hot glue, it won't want to stick anyway, and slide up the thinner shrink wrap and use heat to close it up around the glue a high as it will go (its best if you score a dent fir the tube to grip into towards the top so it doesn't slip down). Now slide the wider tube up over the PCB and thinner tub section shrink and you have something that will look factory. To remove use a light cutting pressure to cut tubes and hot glue, IPA breaks down hot glue as well and can help remove it from between wire safely. The inner layer of Kaption tape prevents glue from lifting pads.
