No sew - Triple Pinch Pleating your curtains makes it look so expensive. This simple DIY Pinch pleat technique will take the look of your curtains to a whole new level.
Triple Pinch Pleating / French pleats on curtains add a very neat and elegant look.
In this video, I used the triple pinch pleat hooks on the Hilja Sheer Curtains from Ikea that gave my $20 sheers an expensive look and definitely changed the way my living room looks.
There is a hack that i use when I am using the hooks into the curtains. This hack is a life saviour when you are trying to put the prongs into the tiny pockets of the hook belt on the curtains.

Wonderful! Can you please tell me what was the width before and after pleating? I want to order curtains online and don't know what dimensions I should buy. The final width of the curtains after pleating should be 2.70m. Thank you!

I love the pleads in the Hilja curtains, I would like to know if you need more curtains with the pleats (3) you made in stead of the pleads (1) Ikea describes? Hi Adje, I agree these pleats makes the curtains look so pretty. Happy New Year...have a wonderful year ahead. You are absolutely correct, when we do pleats (3) we need more curtains than when we do pleats (1) as Ikea describes. So ,if you are doing the triple pinch pleats (3) pleats you have to buy more curtains/sheers. The thicker curtains are from Amazon. I am sharing the link. I hope it helps.a.co/d/9wVnu4C
