Just know that if you come into a Reno video comment section and mention anything about load bearing walls you look like an amateur. Everyone in these comments thinks they are an engineer. All she showed us was her removing the drywall, the wall is still load bearing at that point. Then in the next shot you can clearly see the beam, and joists that are hung to this beam. So the load is now bearing on the beam. Now for those complaining about the electrical, once again you are not a professional and it is showing because it is very easy to re run these circuits and re wire that part of the wall. Yea there are some shady diys but before you comment, at least look at the video a couple of times

There's a lot of stuff that obviously you should leave to the professionals, however, there's even more things that you really can just do yourself. If you don't trust watching a KZread tutorial, just do what my aunt did. Hire some guys to work on one part of the house, ask around and find which guys would normally work on the project that you're trying to do, and just ask how to do it. Loving the Queen....
Should of patched up the messed up holey wall before hanging up the kitchen cabinets.
The overall design is a perfect blend of form and function.
Simple and realistic DIY home improvement! Nice!
Loving the background music! it suites!
Thats how she learned to build a porch.
very nice, planning to renovate my home too
Don’t throw the drywall away!!!! Give it to me so i can eat it!!!

The hardest part about taking down a wall is the electrical
This Video kicks ass🤦🏾♂️🌹

❤❤❤. You inspire me! Keep up the great work!
Hope that was not a support wall sure looked like could be trouble later.

@@juarezderrick9647 do you actually see her remove the studs, or the top plate, or the bottom plate? Or do you just see it go from when she took down the dry wall down to when there was no wall. It was cut and put together because these videos are edited. Nobody wants to see the wall being taken down and supported. The fact that she has a beam and joist hangers in the last cut and then fact that she said she hired an engineer is all we need to know
Stellar work!

Alright with the load bearing wall. Anyone who has watched a renovation show on HGTV knows that. She had a beam installed.
This is amazing!!!!! Very inspirational 🎉🎉😮
That no doubt was a load bearing wall
Don't trip on that SUPER HERO cape you got on. Keep flying woman!
Always check with a professional if your wall is load bearing or not before removing it. She may have but for the sake of her not showing that’s what she did before moving it this can cause so much trouble for other people that think it’s just that simple when removing walls in their home 😅
That wall looked load bearing

@@sprinkledandpaintedno she didn’t have anyone add anything…. You would need at least a 12inch header for that span… which means it would have been a foot lower unless she paid about $10,000 for him to recess it…
That's how you learn. Don't think, just do
American houses are carboard boxes, only bigger and with windows...
The constructions in US are so simple, you can do so much more than with brick walls.. it takes too much time 😫 btw good job 🫶🏼
Wow!❤
Not knowing how to do something should never stop you from doing something ONLY if you have the wits and perseverance to stick thru it. Treat failure as a lessons and you’ll be fine. Problem solving is fun especially if you have a partner who is like minded.
Would love to see a video of how to break down a wall pls. I didn’t find it on your channel yet.
girlll can you give us an update of the glass in that front door?
Girl you are Awesome and Beautiful. 😊👍
Cor make sure you do the wall right 😂 people are so self absorbed 😂
Demolition is the easy part... It's outing things back there's hard!
Dont forget the money and time! Not many have the luxury of both.
“What the hell- let’s take em all down!”
I know for a fact that’s load bearing cause I’ve done the exact same thing even same looking kitchen
Be careful with the position of the load bearing wall and do not follow the example of the video. I am happy to help you when you have some problems cutting sheet metal in your home decoration.
Save the assembly fee too much fun
Also, why would you remove hardwood cabinets to replace them with cheap plywood cabinets. Hardwood cabinets are so expensive it you try to buy them again, and they age so much better than the cheaply made chipboard ones.
I'm searching for an easy diy Home renovation video, and here's KZread showing me someone freakin tearing down a wall in the house and demolishing the entire kitchen 😅
Women’s work❤❤❤❤❤
my respects to the lady, its rare for me at least to see women who does home renovation by herself.
That was definitely load bearing….
I loved the oak cabinets better. They went with the rest of the living area but white is OK, too!

Looks like me
This is why you guys need to hire proffesionals oh boy good luck when floor collapses
Did you make sure that wall was not a load bearing wall?..
That wall needs 3 2x12 LVL beams don't do this stuff to yourself pple. This can cause a major issue for you and your loved ones...
I’m 13 and I do all that
Good job, but why building the cabinets on the messy and dirty places. Floor was dusty. Also, why in USA they do not tile first? It is so annoying that they wrap around canibets everytime. Tiles or flooring does not matter. So unlogical and messy finishes.
Check that wall before you drop your whole house!!!! Might be load bearing!
omg THE COMMENTS FROM HATERS SITTING IN THEIR RENTED APARTMENTS! MISTAKES WERE MADE AND SHES TRANSPARENT. THE POST IS ABOUT BEING BOLD ENOUGH TO TRY AND YEAH MAYBE YOU MESS UP AND NEED TO CALL SOMEONE IN TO FIX IT. THAT'S LIFE. I used a skill saw to cut a 2x4 down in front of my mom and she was like WOW where did you learn to use tools like that - This post is more about women's opinions of their capabilities than "we don't need no man" vibes. But if you want to be upset instead of happy for her making her home beautiful - then go ahead.
that was definitely a load bearing wall she just ripped out
That wall is going opposite direction of joists and is load bearing. Lmao
How was that not a load bearing wall?
And then the house crumbles to the ground lmao good work removing a load bearing wall
Don't worry guys I'm sure she installed a flush steel beam somewhere.
Thank God there was that beam there in that span. Because they got lucky not knowing what they're doing taking down that wall without a support wall. God was there for them for sure on this project going in blind

Hiring a professional to do huge construction projects is a wise decision. Most people will make many mistakes which will cause problems down the road when they go to sell. I've seen so many awful renos totally botched by DIYers when they should have hired a proper contractor.

It’s okay, the video says you don’t have to know what you’re doing. 😂 😂 😂 The kids that were just eating tide pods are remodeling the house that you might buy someday.
You know who else is great at DIYs, your landlord and i would neeeeeeevvverrrr trust or want anything anh of my landlords have touched.
I wonder if she got a beam for that wall
With the prices of everything these days, this video needs some serious attention. People are gonna start doing things themselves more often and make this same mistake by taking out a wall that is holding your part of your house up. At least have an inspector tell you what you can and can’t remove..
Nice to women working! 🙌💯
Always find it funny how cheap everything is built in USA. It´s no wonder that everything keeps collapsing when there´s a slight breez. Looks grat, but ther´s never anything behind it.
