These TinyWhoovs are here! Yeah I'm a bit late to the hovercraft party but I really wanted to make a nice skirted easy to build version! these can be assembled in less than an hour and print in about 2hrs with a Standard Taz 6. The 3D printed STL files are here:

Tonight I flew my first rc toy ever. I got a JJRC H36 for too much from Amazon. It's great! While it was coming g in the mail I watched a few thousand fpv buds lol. Study helps a lot. Learning to fly I practiced the basics on my huge tile floor, and immediately realized these things would make great hovercraft lol. I just wanted to hot glue a baggie onto the frame as a skirt, but after watching all the hovercraft videos I might have to try your build. It looks wicked. Thanks for the research and the plans! Cheers!

I watched this video before I even considered buying a 3D printer and I always thought it looked cool. I bought a 3D printer a few months ago for drone design / repairs mainly but had to print this out so I found this video again and printed your design out with the same skirt you used and completed building it today. I'm very impressed and it's so much fun. I'm gonna add FPV to mine as I've got a spare micro camera (just need to get a VTX).

As an alternative to masking tape for the bed of your 3D printer, you could use BuildTak, which has good bed adhesion and makes prying off 3D prints way easier. It's a little more expensive than masking tape, but I think it does a pretty good job. I've been using it on a CR-10 as well as a Makerbot which both work great with it.
