These TinyWhoovs are here! Yeah I'm a bit late to the hovercraft party but I really wanted to make a nice skirted easy to build version! these can be assembled in less than an hour and print in about 2hrs with a Standard Taz 6. The 3D printed STL files are here:

Does anyone else ever watch his new video and then get really in to them so you watch an old one for the 20th time? These videos are so inspiring and fun to watch! Keep doing what you’re doing
Great stuff! Ever considered building a Ground Effect (Ekranoplan) vehicle? That would be so cool.

Smart idea! Made a hovercraft 16years ago with the guts from electric plantraco indoor flyer. Used kite covering with heavy duty braided fishing line for the squirt. Balsa and styrofoam base. It works pro, still in a box stored for a rainy.
Hey Peter another great video! I was wondering if or when you would do an update video on your homemade ultralight?

Tonight I flew my first rc toy ever. I got a JJRC H36 for too much from Amazon. It's great! While it was coming g in the mail I watched a few thousand fpv buds lol. Study helps a lot. Learning to fly I practiced the basics on my huge tile floor, and immediately realized these things would make great hovercraft lol. I just wanted to hot glue a baggie onto the frame as a skirt, but after watching all the hovercraft videos I might have to try your build. It looks wicked. Thanks for the research and the plans! Cheers!
I am a frog. I came here because I thought the thumbnail said free flies. I am disappointed.

"It looks pretty good!" *gets lit on fire*.
Yeah!- more Hovercraft! Skirt vs Skirtless I know which will win. Hovercraft is technically plural without the 's' but that won't keep me from liking it anyway and flames of course
DANNNNG The ramp on the boat was SOOOOOO sick!
I watched this video before I even considered buying a 3D printer and I always thought it looked cool. I bought a 3D printer a few months ago for drone design / repairs mainly but had to print this out so I found this video again and printed your design out with the same skirt you used and completed building it today. I'm very impressed and it's so much fun. I'm gonna add FPV to mine as I've got a spare micro camera (just need to get a VTX).
Sam's Hovercraft just smacks the obstacle like nope can't do it 7:09

Love watching your build videos, You make it look so easy
I wasn't subscribed till today. How did that happen? The slow motion through the sun and the dust was sweet.
Wow, they are just so cool. Love the golden propellers/ the golden design
Peter. You must drive your Dad nuts. Love your videos. Thanks to you, Sam and the puppies of course.
Your hard work in video production/editing shows. The channel is really looking great. Looking forward to a Summer of Sriipol!
Awesome work, Peter! 😀 I'm going to try to make it with depron! 😀
What a lovely scenary it is at 9:08! It reminds me ducklings😂 Always thank you for posting great videos. I was impressed a lot by the way u edit those footages and give them stories😄

Audible is actually a really cool service.
Foam works well too. I made my first one with cardboard and card stock.
Best conversion I've seen, simple and effective skirt!
Peter! Make an Ekranoplan next! It'll be a cooler ground effect vehicle like the one you did on Flite test!
Thanks for showing how to make the skirt. I was having trouble understanding how that worked.
The zipper in My sleepingbag got stuck. Jeebus, you have had som fun. Greate vids
Peter, You are a Rockstar!..... and you are used to living in your world, so perhaps you dont even see it. :-) Imaginative, and fearless, Inspirational. (BTW, slow mo with the air cushion filling, causing it to rise, then go.. Very kewl doooood. Appreciate ya
Scrolling trough the comments and all I see are people telling you what you should do. You do you. I appreciate these videos anyway.
You are a genius Peter, love every one of your projects, looking forward to seeing you fly your ultralight again in the future.
you said that you were going to paint and stall test your ultralight this spring, can't wait! Great video!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe putting a foam lip around the skirt would help it float
Have you ever tried making a working Air Ship? That's something cool to see!
Very nice soldering job (considering it looked like you were doing it with a railroad spike). Good video.
You're already great at public speaking as for your channel you are already a teacher as one of your subscribers I'm a student, and an eager student as most of your subscribers will be ❤️👍
It'd be cool to make one of those where you can slide the rotors and controller in and out, and convert it back to a quad copter by hand
As an alternative to masking tape for the bed of your 3D printer, you could use BuildTak, which has good bed adhesion and makes prying off 3D prints way easier. It's a little more expensive than masking tape, but I think it does a pretty good job. I've been using it on a CR-10 as well as a Makerbot which both work great with it.
the opposite of snow, gasoline!
Peter, you make my day so much better.and especially today cuz today is the second worst day of my life... Thank you
"Aand it broke" Classic Peter Sripol moment
Sam's skid plate design worked exceedingly well in the water portion.
Peter ..love this channel! Just launched my own! Thanks for the inspiring videos🇨🇦👍😀
You can try making small holes in the bottom rather than a big hole Probably that would help the hovercraft work in water
THATS REALLY COOL WHEN U GUYS WENT IN WATER YOU GUYS DO GOOODD VIDS I LOVE EM. Iwish i ca make one I dont have a 3d printer That other drone that was painted black and yellow or gold looks cool
Hi thanks for putting my skirt whoov vid in too, btw i used a pantysock :) for the other model, it glides great on even (wood) surfaces.
Peter I love your videos so much they inspired me to learn about engineering and electronics and its so amazing so thanks you for making videos been subbed since about 200k
1:02 I have that same red micro drone. kinda sad to see it die, but still pretty cool!
Oh wow they worked on water, that's really cool.
Regarding the skirt design I recommend like instead of putting 1 big hole spread it with smaller holes
Sam's one looks like a mix between Darth Vader and an mosquito, depending on how we look xD
Made my first one out of a Ferrero Rochè heart shaped chocolate box, next one from foam board, then one from eva sheet, now two more from Drone Junkie UK Whoover kits . 🤟🔥all FPV of course
Mylar would have looked cooler than a shoping bag!
Great video man! I've seen a lot of these small hover crafts and I like your design the best.
Hi Peter, just a suggestion, for your Flysky fsi6, you should get the Irangex multiprotocal module so you can control it from your Flysky. I did it on mine and it works 10x better than using the tiny controllers.
Those little things look so cute and fun I need one! time to dust off my Anet A8 :D
This is totally epic! Quick idea for you: thrust vectoring isn't the greatest way to steer. Maybe improve it by adding fins on the exhaust to direct it better?
Peter this is one of my favorites!
500% Tiny Hovercraft as a feature vid? I vote YES!!
Hey Peter I love your vids, keep up the great work!
Ahh Peter you have so much inspiration into my friend and I. Your builds a by far the best!
Love the parts where you combine different types of vechicles or mechanics like driving upp on the boat. Or as i saw on flite test, a harpoon gun. Would be cool to see you build an escavator
ROAD TO 500K SO CLOSE GUYS!!!😀😀😀
I want to do this with a 5'' racing drone setup. I can't stop thinking about it and mentally trying to work out the best way to build it.
Can you please consider making a supercharged Little Tikes Buggy. Like put some brushless motors and make it rc/Driveable as in put someone in it AND CONGRATS on making 500k
You guys should make another project involving LEGO like a LEGO drone
Every video is so cool and creative keep it up!!!
Living with Peter would be so co
Those things look like so much fun!
The black one Looks Like the wheelchair from Mrs. Claridge from Southpark 😂😂😂
Hey! Ive been having a blast playing and building RC put put boats and I think it would make a great video! Look into them, you wont be disappointed!
Just want to say I love your videos and I fully enjoyed the music on the beginning.
I like the military style hovercrafts. The big ones that carry tanks
Awesome video! You should make one with wings so that it can glide back to the ground after going over the ramps
I cannot believe you just stuck a blow torch near that small lipo battery lol like button smashed!

OK the cinematic scene driving through the wall of fire!?! Definitely sharing!!!
to managed to turn a simple toy conversion into an inspiring video
TIL I've been sleeping under a rock. Thanks, Peter Sripol!
try full backwards trim to have the intake rotors start way before the thrust ones
Hi Peter, Love your channel! Kudos on how you have developed since your first appearance I flight test - you are the man! ;) Would it be possible to have the hovercraft ust a tiny bit shorter for the people ( like me obviously...) with just a 120x120mm print bed? It's just that one cm too much. Thank you for sharing anyway!
Watching this it I got an idea. Launch off a runway to ramp and upon exiting the ramp have the 2 rear fans collapse so all 4 fans are facing the ground trying to get stationary hoovering at different heights like 4' - 6' - 8' etc.
Soo cool. Pls make a brushless version with 0703, 1103, 1106 Motors
I love your videos. I laugh my ass off on every video, and it's been a while since anything made me laugh like that. So, thank you for making videos that make people happy. P.S. You make all that stuff look super easy, but I know it can be very challenging
I wish I could be as talented as this guy
now we need to see the full size version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay finally made it to one early!
That was the sickest tiny whoov montage on the Internet! Thanks for an awesome video Peter!
omfgggggggggg imagine hovering RPi with Google Assistant :D it would need more motors I guess but, making your smart assistant follow you would be great :D
I wonder if you could put the thrust and lift on different channels. That would be awesome!
Hey, Peter. I have been subscribed for a while and honestly I love your videos. I really like things like this.
That looks so fun!
Awesome! Putting mine together now!
Super cool ! 💙
I love you guys u guys make the most creative things ever I'm such a big fan
This guy deserves wayy more credits than he actually gets! Keep making cool stuff!
