DIY Super Crisp Stencil Tutorial (2 ways!)

~Materials:~
Printer (or tracing paper and a screen) (if you don't own a printer, see if you can borrow/buy the services of the library, school, friend or workplace's printer)
Screenprinting ink/fabric paint (i used speedball screenprinting ink)
Freezer paper (i used the brand Sew Easy) OR vinyl paper (i used Oracle 813 Adhesive Stencil Film)
Iron (or a hair straightener if you're in a pinch)
Tiny paintbrush (toothpick if you don't have one)
Sharp cutting thing ( i used an excel knife)
Makeup sponge
Stick of glue
Cutting board
Marker
Tape
Scrap Cardboard
Fabric (or thing you wanna stencil onto)

Another way Is you use normal paper and glue it to the fabric, tho u may have glue residue if you use too much, it's usually how I do it :)

I've done stencils a lot . I love using this cutter device. It's like cricut but has a name I can't spell xD

@@RattusRattus yes, i should show you on instagram maybe? (i usualy throw the templates away because i use a masking type film.) also i tried the patches idea today and ended up painting on my old Jeans i dont wear oftern :)

When using the adhesive vinyl, you can also get transfer film (essentially a big roll of clear tape) to move the stencil over to your cloth and then you don't have to add bridges only to remove them later.
aw man I’m so sorry you got sick, I got the vid from work at the beginning of this year and it was so garbage :( and these patches look so good!! thank you for making this tutorial, I’m definitely gonna give it a go this summer
I love this. I’m wanting to make a battle vest of local bands but I don’t think any of them have patches so…stencils is my best option

im fairly certain she just folds the edges of the patch backwards and irons them down so it creates a nice crisp edge that wont fray, rather than the raw edge :)
