I really can’t assure you. Kindly try to wrap the lace round your waist and after knotting, you should be able to know if it will be nice. Because I actually think that using a light fabric is best for styles like this.

I don’t think there is a particular needle for sewing duchess. Just work with your sewing machine needle, but whenever you want to sew duchess, it is always advisable to change your needle to a new one.
