About Market Farmer Keith:
Keith is a successful market farmer utilizing techniques suited for small plot intensive vegetable production known as Market Gardening. This year we are massively expanding our operation adding 65+ new beds, a 30'x48' high tunnel, and 2 caterpillar tunnels. This season we will have around 100, 40 ft long, beds 30" wide which come out to about 1/2 acre of area or 10,000 sqft of bed space under production. With this we will harvest around 200-300 lb of produce a week that we sell to local restaurants and at our many farmers market. Our goal is to share the tools and techniques required to farm naturally on a budget with the troublesome insects and weather conditions across the US.

Anything to eliminate wear and tear on the back is a good thing! Your wash area looks REALLY GREAT! I will see if you have done a video on it or might be a good future video!

Excellent just saw the StandnPlant mentioned on another channel and was trying to see how it worked. Just planted 12 dozen seeds, so need to get started on building one in the next couple of weeks. Saw a similar video for planting corn, pea, or bean seeds with a similar last year, but never thought of scaling it up to plant seedlings. Thanks for posting

If only it came with a 5-10 shot magazine tube. Load up 5-10 starts and plant away, drop magazine and insert another...rinse lather repeat.

I’m completely serious, I don’t think it’d be that hard to make an 8 tube magazine that is designed like a Revolver ( pistol ) that you could easy lock in and replace. A heat gun to soften the PVC, a simple pin that rotates the next tube. Load up a few magazines and plug away.

Cool! Let us know how it goes when you use it to plant out. I'm wondering how long the rubber band will last.

Will do. The great thing is we always have a giant box of rubber bands around for bunching radishes.

Why didn't you use a full carriage bolt on.the opener? You could tie the actuator rope to that.
