I’ve got to give you 50thousand 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 the fact that you knew how to locate the wiring, went in the attic, put another boxy in the ceiling and most of alllllllll sitting up in the air on a ladder (no ma’am I will not) it was hard for me to watch. 😅☺️Great job!!!

Them stairs are lookin prettttttty. Can’t wait to see the final transformation. Girl, you're my HERO! I admire your skill set!! I just started collecting tools of my own and starting on lil projects! BUT, some things just scare me... like I don't think I could do light fixtures or even change a door knob! My hubby works out if town months at a time and I'm just trying to do surprise him at learning... did I mention he's a carpenter?😂 Can't wait for the next video! Have a safe and happy holiday!

Thank you! Changing a doorknob is a perfect beginner project to get you familiar with your drill. Make sure you check out next week’s video because I think it will be perfect for you! That’s so cool your husband is a carpenter. I’m sure your husband will be super impressed that you’re getting into diy. Meanwhile my husband doesn’t bat an eye when I’m moving light fixtures or remodeling the kitchen. (He’s so used to it.) Yet he kept raving about the mediocre lasagna I recently made for him. 🤣🤣
Just discovered your channel and I know I’ll enjoy watching the rest of this make over. You might consider getting a paint spryer it would be even a bigger Improvement then the extension that you use this time.

You are so talented! I look forward to the weekend because I’m excited to see what video you post next! What did you end up doing with the old electrical wire to the old fixture you removed?
@KelseyRomitoDIY
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I disconnect the wire on both ends so there was no power running to it and I left it in the wall. It would have been impossible to get it out because it is stapled to the studs.

Yo Yo Yo friend, I you EVER have to do a ladder trick like that again you can screw a scap piece of 2x4 or pretty much anything just to keep ladder from sliding down the wall. A 24" pice works great as to catch 2 studs & have enough width for ladder. I've even seen guys attach a piece to ceiling & run a rope or wratchet stap through ladder rung. Either way you killed it bye seeing it through!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!

When I had to paint the stairwell at a previous house I owned, I duck taped a paintbrush to the end of a pole so I wouldn’t have to get up on a ladder at all. I don’t think I could stomach hanging over the stairs on a ladder the way you did. 😬
@KelseyRomitoDIY

That works too! I actually felt much more secure on the ladder inside than I did outside.
👍🏼❤️🇨🇦😉
How do you do this? Self taught is YT? Or did you have a carpenter father? New to the channel and loving the content. You make it look easy. Also could you go over what brushes to use with what type of paint? Do some Work better than others ? I always pick the wrong ones it seems and I make a mess 🤔😔
