I’ve heard of it. I’m not sure if you can, but I wouldn’t see why not as long as the surface is scuffed/sanded, it should bond to it.

Excellent. Kudo's for the safety reminders, I've seen far too many KZreadrs ignoring simple safety gear while grinding or using pants and chemicals. Double amputee here. It takes a second to have your life changed.

I've got a 2004 LJ that I'll be ordering 1.5 gallons for. I'll likely have plenty of leftover to do a drop coat for a more even texture. I'm not planning to take it to bare metal because I have no rusting, just removing the clear coat with a 150 grit sandpaper I think. Looking forward to this project. Thanks for the video.

Thanks so much, Jason. It was surprisingly easy. The Hardest part was removing all the rusted bolts. I have more detail on my blog.

This is the video I was looking for. I have a 99 tj in about the same shape. That looks like it would work well with the desert sand pearl paint job.

Quick way to clean your gun put the tube into acetone and spray it until it's clean use carb cleaner for the rest works great ,I use raptor a lot great stuff,did my tundra and 3 other SUV with it

Can i put sound skin over top raptor liner? Want to use raptorliner for the rust protection butneed to deal with sound issues on my 67 stepvan.

How did the liner hold up ? I have a 75 jeep cj5 that I just painted the inside tube with Por-15 and was concerned about Raptor sticking . Ill try your method of lightly sanding with 80 grit sand paper before I paint . Great video , thank you .

Does the smell ever go away I've had my jeep done for a couple months and it still has a strong smell to it if its been shut up for the night.

So two bottles of raptor liner was plenty for the tub, sides, and tailgate? How's it holding up?

What were you using to clean it off? Paint thinner? Acetone ?

I am from Venezuela and I would like you could tell me where I can buy the painting but in beige. if you recommend a link. since I only see pure black color

Does it get "dirtier", i.e does the dirt/hair stick to it at all? I've got golden retrievers.. and the hair sticks to the carpet.. so hard to clean.

How is holding up now. I am looking at this or Monstaliner. Monstaliner claims to be the only UV safe liner out on the market

It’s holding up great! Mine is out in the sun quite often and no issues so far.

No wonder you beat your son, he played you left handed to give you an advantage. Oh nice job on the spray in bed liner.

What kind of Chemical did you use to clean the gun between coats?

Wouldn't recommend mixing in your Jeep. If you make a mess or knock it over good luck with the finished product! Overall, decent video. Also, wire brush wheel for overall scuffing usually gives a better result.

Bonavita raptor liner comes in black but you can buy a tintable version to paint it any color you want. I literally just finished my 95 YJ in white

What were you using to clean the equipment with in the end?

@@PahjoDesigns Food for thought. Next time try not using the sink to clean your materials. That stuff goes back to our drinking water. It needs to be poured into a metal container and desposed of properly.

@@stevenharms338 All waste water goes through a dramatic cleaning process , If you have a floor drain in your garage it ties into the sanitary drain system , which is treat and released . I wouldnt be to concerned about small amount of chemicals you poured into the drain . Stevie boy just wants to bitch !

I drive with a bimini 99% of the time. I haven’t noticed any difference in sound when I do have my winter soft top, but I don’t think I drive it enough with that top to notice.

How many of those bottles you ended up using? I am trying to do the same to my jeep.

Yep, that was it. The interior tub doesn’t take nearly as much as the exterior. It was very easy to apply and it holds up well. The hardest part was removing all the old rusted bolts and preparing the floor for the spray. I highly recommend POR15 to reinforce the drivers side floor as well.

do you think it would look okay to do a black jeep with the tan liner, i think it would make dust and sand less noticable than my black interior does now

Yep, I live 3 blocks from the beach and that is part of the reason why I used this color. :)

Have you noticed any reduction in road noise, with the top on?

Yes, a small amount. However, I rarely put the top on. I mostly ride with the Bimini top only.

Holding up very well. I live 3 blocks away from the ocean in very salty air and it’s held up great.

Yes. I was worried about this as well so I called U-POL and asked them if this would be ok. They said folks did it with a 10 gallon without issue. I rolled the dice and had no issues whatsoever.
