I got it off Amazon- amzn.to/3rJlYOo this does 3 pairs of shoes… but it does depend on how big your shoes are. I did 3 pairs of men’s 10. And then the grip tape I got on Amazon too: amzn.to/476sH4Y Grip tape you’ll have a lot left over for shoes in the future

@@gahrilla_1 usually people use them to preserve the shoes sole a bit better. Normally it’s for more high resale value shoes…but I don’t have money for that 😂

Not at all actually. It came off really clean. (Which was nice cause if it’s all sticky I feel like it defeats the purpose of it).

I actually am just testing out different sole protectors (paints for shoes, cleaners for shoes etc.) to try to find the best ones. This was the “cheap Amazon” version 😆 but I suppose if someone was into reselling this might be ideal 🤔

I have not tried contact paper. I would assume no, but you are welcome to try it. Worst thing is it won’t work and make your shoes sticky, best thing is it’ll work! You should be okay with a hair dryer on the hottest setting…it might take a little bit longer tho.

If you don’t use the grip tape, yes you will break your face like I almost did. With grip tape you are good. Also I am doing another comparison video (testing some stuff currently) so I’ll let you know if I discover any new info. So far so good tho

Sure this is what the description says: 3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Bulk Film Roll 6-by-84-inches and then a little further down in the listing it says: 3M Scotchgard Clear Paint Protection Film And item model number says: C2I_INV_B004VFYCZE_R Just make sure it’s at least 6 inches wide and then whatever length your shoes are to make sure it fits properly. @@siddhantsharma1343 that one is a specific brand of grip tape but I would assume any brand of skateboard grip tape would work fine (not positive tho): BlackWidow Skateboard Grip Tape is the brand I got but possibly any brand would have similar results

4-by-48-inches or 6-by-25 would these work

Only a little bit. More of a scratching but it depends on the flooring. I wouldn’t wear them inside your own home (not the best for the flooring).

It’s also the bottom of a shoe, man. No one can see it so having these stickers on the bottom isn’t a big deal.

I did this yesterday to my concord 11s. A piece of gum ruined it lol

I wore it about 10-15 times. Just don’t wear it in wet grass like I did. That one only lasted like 5 times and then peeled off 😂 😭

@@apj444 it is slippery on the grass (only slippery if it’s wet grass tho) if you don’t add the grip tape. Def add the grip tape and it’s much better.

I would highly recommend a heat gun. I use an embosser which is similar but def go for the heat gun if you can. I should prob test it out to see if I can use a hair dryer and have it adhere properly 🤔

If you hold a heat gun there for a long time then yes you’d be right. This is only for about 15 seconds and it isn’t not to the levels of heat that would cause any issues. Thanks for the input tho.

@@ONLYLOSEmeLEGS yes you can use a hair dryer it just might take a bit longer. I should do another video just to test it. Usually it needs to be a bit hotter to help it apply better. Hopefully in a week or 2 I can double check it tho

The first one is a paint protectant usually for cars: amzn.to/40aCkfe But the other one is just a normal grip tape for skateboards : amzn.to/42u5M1o Both are from Amazon and a pretty decent price for the quality too!

@@motorizedbicyclerider5296 so for that one I linked I wear a mens size 10 and it fits 3 pairs of sneakers (so like $8 per set I think it comes to) and the grip tape would be enough for like 8 pairs I bet. They last like 15 wears or so too.

amzn.to/3syP3gb here is the one for the film. I actually am doing a new video and tested both a hair dryer and an embosser (which is like a cheap heat gun) and def the embosser is better but the hair dryer on hot and low setting is decent.

And here is the grip tape (it will scratch up your house floors so I take off my shoes in my house 😂) amzn.to/3SDNSXt I tried wearing it without the grip tape (only the film) and I almost slipped like 682x. Prob any grip tape/traction tape would be fine. Also testing out just wearing the grip tape as the sole protection and I am pretty sure it’s gonna be a mess to remove (unlike the film, which was amazingly easy and no residue). Anyways good luck!

I have 2 grail’s, the first would be the Air Jordan 5 BLACKOUT and the Air Jordan 5 Retro Premio 'Bin23' . I’m a sucker for the Jordan 5, Reebok Pump and Adidas Superstar

Notice how this dude doesn't show the edges because it doesn't work, I tried a few brands including 3M they dont shrink with heat or stick waste time I will be returning this.

It works fine on the edges, I’ve done 3 pairs so far with the 3M vinyl and the heat gun. No issues! You going to possibly have trial and error on your first pair.

That’s the worse sole protector glass cuts through that and for the others it doesn’t

I wouldn’t recommend walking thru glass for any shoes or sole protectors. That’s quite dangerous 😢

3m doesn’t stick to Jordan 1s. They will easily come off while you wear them.

Not true, I did my wife’s retro number 1’s and she wore them all night for her birthday and they’re still on the soles just as good.
