Not to crash the party but if anyone does this, make sure that the wood is heat treated and NOT chemical treated. It should be marked somewhere. If your using it for food like it seems she is, the chemicals can seep into the plants
That mint is going to take over the whole garden
This looks amazing

Awesome! We hope she has fun building it :)
Isn't the plywood going to rot quick with water?
Don’t you need to put separators between the levels so the plants don’t all fall to the bottom when you stand it up?

With the way she did it, no. If the soil has fill up all the space from the top to the bottom of the pallet, then it'll hold. The plant roots will keep the soil from washing away as they expand and spread.
What purpose is the weed mat? When you then covered it with ply?

Extra protection
I’m not sure about healthwise but it’s pretty and creative…..
Doesn't the soil all shift to the bottom when you stand it up?

no she fills the whole pallet up with soil.
I love this idea but I cant seem to wrap my head around how its standing without the plant or soil falling/sliding off!! Sorry, I am not criticizing, merely wondering!

It's leaning at an angle not standing straight up.

If you watch the video carefully, you'll see that there is plywood drilled at the back of it.
That soil will not stay in place especially during a heavy downpour.

it could be under the roof (like balcony...)
Why would you put a questionable stain on something you were growing food in? It's not all about looks. Sometimes it's about health.

Always about health and yes, stupidly American. Use heat treated pallets has a HT on the side to indicate, non toxic and do not stain even with "earth friendly" ones

@@deesarches602 what an ignorant thing to say >>> (‘stupidly American’). Bless your small narrow minded thinking.

Hola bro
Like si estás aquí por refuerzo de inglés
You would never add any chemicals to the wood. Just heat treated wooden pallets. That's your food you're growing in that🤦♀️🤦♀️
