DIY Setting Powder Beauty Hack!

Hi everyone ♥
In this video I am sharing with all of you makeup and beauty addicts how to successfully set and mattify your makeup with just arrowroot powder! This really cool DIY beauty hack has been, legit, a life saver for me, as my t-zone gets pretty oily throughout the day...especially when I have makeup on haha.
This is such a super simple hack that will only cost you a couple of dollars rather than spending sooo much more at Sephora lol. I think it's awesome to think outside of the box and get creative with beauty!
You can find arrowroot powder at basically any health food store, usually in the bulk or baking section.

Sifting the arrowroot a few times works great and makes it more fine. I can't wait to use mine. I made enough for two small cosmetic jars.

Do you recommend using this for those with dry skin to set their makeup?

Hi Val! Because I have oily/combo skin, I'm not sure how it would behave on dry skin. Maybe using a little wouldn't hurt, but you'd want to definitely test it beforehand. Hope that helps 😄!

Great question! I’ve never taken pictures with flash while wearing this diy setting powder, so I’m not sure. However, it’ll be worth a shot to try out, and then do a test photo with flash beforehand 😄. xxx
