DIY Sanding brush for sanding machine

Hi this is the video of how I made the sanding drum and sanding flaps (loading's) fro the sanding machine I made in the last episode.
Its a simple drum made from ply sandwiched together to make the required thickness and the sanding elements are made from folded and glued cloth backed sandpaper Hermes jflex cloth.
I hop enjoy enjoy this if you make your own keep the speed down as the balance is awful!!!!
If anyone wants the CAD drawings let me know and I will make them available.

assembly tip would be to place the sandpaper in the slot and then insert the steel rod. Also your laser can do a great job cutting the slots in the sandpaper, I use my 60 watt co2 for this.

@JAWSFREE never thought of using the laser cutter. Great idea. I would also recommend using one side only for the sandpaper, they tend to rub against each other and wear out by themselves!!! I am building a new workshop at the moment so it will have to wait a while though. Cheers

Hi this machine is not for sale I use it at work every day. The video is instructional to help you make your own. Good luck mine has saved me hours of sanding every day!
