I've seen your video many times and I just realized about the fixed pulley... is it just glued to the flange on the left? Cheers!

This is a very clever use of technology. One question. I understood that the rotation in the X and Y directions should not be symmetrical. I think you could fix it rather easily by simply changing the sprocket size of the inner frame. Is this an issue?

Thats great, you should build to sell those.

To power it easily just chuck your drive shaft into an electric drill.

hi, looks really neat and the sound is awesome too :D BUT you'd have to change the gears since a 1:1 Ratio covers only a small part of the mold (resulting in uneven castings). I am currently working with 2:3. let me know if you find something better

what do you mean by 1:1 Ratio?
@overstepmkt227

@@1985cactus the relation of speed between the 2 frames. they rotate at the same speed, If you change the size of the gear that controls the rotatios of the smallets frame, the small frame could be rotating2 or 3 times faster than the larger frame, I guess thats what he meant.

@@overstepmkt227 Thank you. I looked into it after leaving that comment and kinda figured out some basics.

Nice solution the flex belt! This kind of belt can handle a larger structure?

I doubt it, there is quite a lot of play.

would you be willing to create this as a thing on thingiverse? I'd like to build one similar to this and those printed brackets would come in very handy :-)

This was made from scrap parts, I'm not really manufacturing them. I encourage you to build your own, there are lots of great plans on the internet.

Do you know if PET plastic can be used with rotocasting? I can`t find any reference

I don't think so, from what I know best bet with PET is vacuum forming. Check out www.smooth-on.com/ for casting resin options.
