I made the first one but I used the base color as a rich purple and made the flowers a metallic gray! 👏👏 I made the Chanel logo black. It came out awesome☝️😍. I didn't know how to paint flowers freehand in till this video.😃 I'm now in the process of making the second canvas art.love this video!

for anyone who isn't the best at lettering or keeping a neat hand; use an exacto knife to cut out the letters from the paper so only white is left, tape the paper then fill in the letters with paint.

Came across your channel and LOVE this video so much! Such a cute project. Have my youngest kids, boys 7, 8 & 10, all making these to give as Holiday gifts for the ladies in their lives (teachers, aunts, friends moms)....they're having a blast with minimal assistance. Love the way you explained this project bc it's low cost, few steps, very easy to follow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

These are such neat ideas! Make sure that when you add shadow you keep it consistent. On the first lipstick the bottom has a highlight on the left, but on top there's a shadow on the left. Just visualize where your light source is :)

Another idea you could of printed out the Chanel logo with an inkjet printer and transferred it into the canvas with a gel medium also gives a neat vintage feel

Hi! This was the inspiration I needed for some paintings, so thanks! There's an easier way to do the Chanel part though...I think if you used card stock bigger than the canvas, and cut out the black part rather than the white, it will make a stencil "inside" the paper. Using repositioning adhesive, you can spray it, wait for a minute or two till it becomes tacky, and then place the stencil on the canvas, paint in the letters, and peel off before the paint dries. That way, you don't have to worry about your tracing or anything...

I showed this to my sister, and she loved it! But she was really bummed cause she said she couldn't draw! This is a very beautiful Idea, and its very creative!!
