Nice build, nothing beats having a work station with full fume extraction.

So i stumbled across this video while looking at enclosure designs as I'm designing my own enclosure for resin printing and this video had a TON of useful info that I'll be applying to my design! Thanks :)

Well done. Quick and to the point explanation of the steps. I have a Mars 2 Pro and a Mars 4 Ultra and am still trying to figure out how I will contain and vent the fuse from them. This is a great example that I may well have to emulate in my own build.

Hello what fan do you use for air extraction and how do you power it?

It’s an in-line fan from Amazon that has a regular power plug

nice, os that little coal filter all you gonna do on it?? why not make a bucket system, before air do outside, iv seen some make em with the pellets too. also add a fan controll , like cause there possible times full blast from the thing not needed or wanted.

Not exactly sure what you mean with bucket system. Since the air is going out of the window anyway I didn’t see a reason to over engineer that part. I only let the fan run for a couple of minutes after the print has finished

@@evolutionxstudios some is bound to flow in again, if window not sealed and hose just laying in the window frame, and people could be outside? idk how you live. if you look up active coal , bucket system, acvarius pellets im just the cheap, DIY system will pop up

So zumindest meine Idee😄

Danke!

Resin smell doesn't bother me, only use Siraya resin, the smell is stronger first time you open a sealed bottle but it dies down after a while. IPA is the reason i use a respirator, that has a very strong smell! My Saturn 3 Ultra has a built in exhaust space in the acrylic, it's basically a circle hole with a cover to connect it to a hose directly.

It’s actually not the smell itself but the VOCs I’m more concerned with. But I agree, for me the washing is also way worse in terms of smell than the printing

@@evolutionxstudios I don't print every day, sometimes i do a few weeks, other times months go bye without printing. Doing everything myself including sculpting so I'm all over the place. Those washing stations may be good but a lot of IPA is wasted and needs to be recycled, i just put the model in a large container filled with water and use a large brush dipped in IPA and scrub it like that. Every drop of IPA gets used and no need to strain messy IPA. Fairy seems to work instead of IPA but it required a lot more work.

@@TheIcemanModdeler yeah I hate the whole process of resin printing. If the results in the end weren’t just so good
