If you pour the silicon with a smaler stream, it will effectively break a lot of the bubbles and minimize them for the final mold, so the bubbeling issue won't be as bad next time. You should also prctising scraping the buckets edges and even put it in a second bucket to mix it a bit more. That will help you avoid having unmixed silicon and also resin in the future.

Resin would most likely beable to hand the weight of the parts, aside from maybe like a giant tower cooler or one of the humongous 4080-4090 cards. For thermals id be careful, because with the heat gpus and cpus get upto nowadays I can deffo see certain parts nearest to the gpu/cpu warping and potentially causing failure or damage.

The panels looked much better/colourful on the white worktop- once assembled almost all of the blue and pink is just invisible against the dark interior. Some white LED lighting inside the case would probably help the colours stand out again...

I work with smooth on silicone every day and to get the silicone time song with the sad faces just absolutely cracked me up. Also, they do make bucket openers for those buckets! If y'all are near a Reynolds Advanced Materials - they sell them there! I use to try and open those buckets with my fingers too and it was a nightmare!! I've had the same bucket opener for 3+ years now and it's still working great!!

resin charm maker here! for charms and coasters normally what i like to do is make a clear/glittery layer first! and then add super glittery colored resin behind that once the first clear layer gets a little tacky! That way the resin doesnt 'glob' together and look like a little girls first PC art project! lol! Otherwise amazing video you guys! Love the content! I started making resin art because of you two and your awesome vids

I have trouble opening buckets like that too! A trick I learned when I worked in a kitchen is to put the bucket on the ground, and use your knee to put weight on the center of the lid while you pry up the edges with your fingers :) I'm pretty light and my hand strength isn't great, but the knee method made it less of a struggle

Another wonderful video as always!! You guys should get one of those bucket lid opener things. They're SUPER handy! I used them every day in the bakery I used to work at, to open icing buckets, and I've seen them used for 5 gallon paint buckets too. I could never open them without one now!
