DIY Reptile Apartment Style Baby Rack Cages *16 Total*
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Today I show you step by step on how I made this DIY reptile apartment style baby rack that fits 16 cages onto one bakers rack. With this I'm able to level up my breeding game and avoid further tail nipping that is common for bearded dragon babies.

Thanks for watching and the kind words Keith, and I’ll make sure to keep pressing record!
Great idea and came out great I’m definitely going to make something similar when I get my next eggs from my monitors. I’m actually building a custom enclosure for one of my adult monitors at the moment and it’s almost finished 4 more pieces of wood to cut them adding the door and then waterproofing it. And got all the supplies for about $200 so I’ll probably make another one and stack them. I’ll put up a video when it’s finished if you want to check it out

Great video but just a heads up you accidentally added the acrylic hinge link twice instead of adding the acrylic sheet link

Thank you my dude!
thank you for sharing. I've got a pair of rare anoles I'd like to breed and looking at the initial costs of a full rack had me overwhelmed a bit. This set up is much more reasonable and still looks great. Time to start planning :D

Love it, will be doing this for myself as I have a room full of bakers racks with plastic tubs lol I hate having to move stuff around to service my animals. As a woodworker, the next time you do this you should look into finish head screws for a more finished look! Just like $0.05 more per screw but they disappear as if they aren't even there!

I’m looking to make shelves in a pvc enclosure I saw poplar wood at my local hardware store would that work good? How should I seal it if so
@mightymorphingreptiles

Ummm idk about it for diy stands. I’ve done diy stands before and used normal 2 by 4s and ply wood. If your just using it for stands then normal paint works just fine.

Hey I misread your comment originally I wouldn’t recommend making shelves inside an enclosure with wood.

@@mightymorphingreptiles what would u recommend? I was gonna do black pvc like the enclosure is but I don’t need a huge sheet and that’s all I can find😅

Pick up an electric brad nailer you can nail them together so much faster and cleaner and you can staple down the screen.
