IM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS I just finished making a pair of bell bottoms from straight leg jeans (first sewing project ever) and I got a top to go with them and the waist doesn't sinch the way I need it to. This is such a quick and easy fix, thank you!

Perfect job with the music! And if you google, there's actually a lot of royalty-free and free-to-use music. And I'm sorry about your dad. Mine just passed away a couple months ago and life is absolutely different, so I hope your dad gets better. Also, fabulous alteration!

Sorry to hear about your dad. Btw the dress is lovely. I quit adding background music on my sewing tutorials since the beginning of this year. I find that my viewers enjoyed it without music so they can focused on the actual tutorial.

Ooohhh, that was cute with your son! And I thought: this looks almost like a wedding dress! myself. Summery and yet very elegant, perfect for a garden party ☺ I never especially noticed the music in your videos, but this was definitely fine. Relaxed and unobtrusive is a good choice for instructionional videos in my opinion. Hope your dad is well again, soon!

When I buy dress online, I always get XL even I'm M to L. Atleast, it's easy to repair than returning a very tight dress or sell it to others or maybe, give it away. Thanks for this video.

This was a wonderful and informative video. Thank you for posting it. It has helped me to make a decision on a dress for my daughters wedding that I purchased. I purchased it because I love it, but I personally felt it was a little to big on the upper body on the side of the dress and a little in the waist. I almost thought it hung on me a little, so I asked the customer service person assisting in that dept. and she felt it was a size to big. So I am definitely having it taken in. I could do it ( watching your great video) but the length has to be taken in to so I am taking it to an inexpensive tailor.

I am wondering, however, how you managed to get the skirt portion to look as well as it does without puckering since you only took in the upper half of the dress. I feel your pain with your dad, my dad had a server stroke on the 10th Feb and is still in hospital I can't believe he's been there for 6 months when I was told it was a long slow progress they weren't lying.
