That stuff is super strong. I've made my own pine tar soap before, the biggest benefit I noticed is that bugs seem to leave you alone a lot more after washing with it day-in, day-out. I've gone into the woods with friends mushroom hunting and they'll be covered with ticks and other bites, i'll have none.

Late to the party, but your presentation is killer! “Man soap, rarwwwwww!” 😂 I’ve recently become interested in putting tar soap in my repertoire so avidly watching all videos, refreshing to see a man for a change

Just bought that exact bar of soap from my store today and noticed the price had gone up substantially. Thought I would see how easy it is to make. Always thought it was a black art sort of thing. You make it seem easy.

if you warm the pine tar up by placing a container in a pot of hot water it will be easier to handle.

Thanks man. I thought I was the only dude making soap, lol. Worked great - but I found increasing everything by 10% gave me a bit more to work with. Original recipe seemed slightly shallow. Could have been just me wasting a bit too much in the bowls. Thank you!

Yes. You can sell your soap to a department store for $20 dollars a bar. Lord knows what they will charge. It's beautiful. You'll be selling rich woman their own fat asses back to them.

Thanks! I used a fragrance called “Blue Man” for this soap. Blue man is a mix of patchouli, orange peel, sparkling mandarin, coriander leaves, star anise, and tonka. It's inspired by Aquolina's Blue Sugar cologne. I buy all my fragrance from bramble berry they have a really good selection. They sell it on Amazon and the stuff he used was probably bought from a feed store or some place they sell things for horses. I read a couple of articles that said they didn't recommend buying it from the feed store because some of it has charcoal in it, but said if it is charcoal free, its probably ok to use.

Coconut oil is known for clogging pores so I wouldn’t use it. Also olive oil isn’t the greatest for people with sensitive skin
