Im a woman who owns no tools & have the urge to jump into a project like this. So very cool to see another woman do this & use what other ppl say "the wrong tools" give me the push to try it.
The fact that a lady made this makes me super proud, girl power!
The best and clearest DIY furniture making video ever.
love that you did everything "old school" no electric drills, etc. GREAT VID!

+michaella c thank you :) it was our first project, now we use some better tools, with them the work is much easier :)

PaintyCloud I agree it's better for these videos to use basic hand tools. Not everyone can afford circular saws, variable drills, impacts drills, sawsalls, etc for a small home project. Sometimes people get intimidated when they these youtube how to videos when people have a right tool for the job vs a tool that will do the job.

michaella c how were the holes made for the carriage bolts? Surely a drill was used for them?

I love the use of non-electric tools. I wanted to try my hand at making just a table or two and not invest in the power tools. This video definitely shows me how.
Now that's what you call DIY. No need to buy special tools. Definitely gonna try it for my new place. Thanks
I am redoing my back yard and I am going to make one of these table thanks for any easy instructional video that's simple to follow
Very nice, that was worth watching. I'm going to put shelves underneath but I appreciate you taking your time and showing us this.
Love love love your DIY tutorial!!!! Absolutely love the fact that's it's being made by a girl wearing her red nail varnish!! Yay women can do it all!!!
You did a great job! The table turned out really awesome! Kudos!
FINALLY a DIY video that isn't for decorating a college dorm. Definitely want to make one now!
the best how to make table video i found in you tube that uses hammer, saw and nails and no machines. 😁👍
I'm inspired make this, it's got that nice rustic feel to it....hard wearing & will last for years.
Looks very good! Very cool and relaxed diy video! Good job!
Wow amazing. I would buy this piece of art over an expensive store bought coffe table any day. It turned out great. And nice shoes btw 😜
Wao this is great for beginners no heavy tools were used. thanks I enjoyed the video keep uploading more.

good idea, did you do that?
Very nicely done, with very simple lines.👍Going to be making this style myself (without the gaps) and some brass inlays from a home sculpted bas relief. The inlays will go perfectly with the dark stain.
Very nice! Gonna have to make another one just like a bunch of other folks that watched this video.
Que hermosa mesa de centro esta genial. gracias dios te bendiga por compartir tus ideas

Great design. Nice work. Only thing I would change is using phillips screws. Always use tork. But I love you way of doing it all low tech.

What i loved about it was no power tools was used.
How did you drill holes on 5:30?why you didnt show that? I cant drill holes in 3 planks in same time becouse i cant bypass top plank?!
@PaintyCloud
8 жыл бұрын
you can check this process in our newest video, 5:44 >> kzread.info/dash/bejne/lZ97ms5pprq4lZs.html After you drill the first holes, joint the parts, and with the help of nail mark the next holes. This process is really missing in this video, cause the recording was unfortunately bad quality :)
Amei ganhou mais uma inscrita 😍😍😍

Painty Cloud wish i was a wealthy sponsor lol its taken me years to build a decent set of tools up.. but i have noticed there's a lot of good deals on certain pound shop tools hammers and ruff saws there seem ok screws are so so. but screwdrivers are not worth the pound paid. as im sure you probably have found out any way i love your videos keep up the hard work its 60% imagination and that's what i lack

If it works, it isn't wrong but you would benefit from a cross cut hand saw. A hack saw for metal takes forever. Thank you for your video. The project came out well. I use my drill as an egg beater, so sometimes it's okay to think outside the box.
