How to make an origami Phone Stand / Holder (version 4).
In this video, I show you how to make a holder that will leave your smartphone both horizontally and vertically for you to watch what you want.
This base is triangular and resembles a pyramid.
In my research it seems that the creator of this model was Yamaguchi Makoto. I just modified the method and created my own explanation, making it easier for everyone.

This doesn't work with US 8.5x11 inches paper. The difference with A4 (8.25x11.7) is too much. I found out the same way you did... You can cut off 3/4 inch along the long side of the paper to make it work (7.75x11) and get the same ratio as A4.

Just look at that ratio. This is what happens when everyday people try to do origami. I promise you, this video was pretty well done, and in actuality I've seen videos and even on paper diagrams that were much more unclear that took me forever to figure out. You just gotta understand that's a normal thing XD Also, it's very hard to guage ahead of time where people will have difficulty since it varies per person, so you are very unlikely to find an absolutely perfect instructional video. Be glad you don't have to slow the video down to 0.25 speed and stare at it 20x to figure out what the heck is going WHILE the video has terrible video quality.

My mother told me to make a phone stand for her. I started searching in KZread for a super phone stand with paper. The first video was this and the structure, colour and the thumbnail of this phone stand attracted me. I saw the full video and thought that it is very easy. I asked my mother whether she liked it. She told yes and I made it two times and the third time it worked. My mother is very happy and even I. Thank u so much.
