This Nuclear Burst turned out really nice. A little more subdued compared to the original you did back in Jan. of 2015. Thanks for making it look so easy, great work Derek.

If it was me 🥴, I would have knocked the open dye containers to a heck of a mess! Very beautiful!

The boxes the 3 oz bottles come in have a slot on the back to put them in and it acts like a stand to keep them from falling over. I highly recommend using it. Saved me a couple of times.

Steven, me too lol. Every time I see someone leaving their bottles uncapped I cringe, waiting for tge mess that I would undoubtedly make🤣

Man you make it look so easy, but I'm quite sure your experience pays off. Not sure if it would be so easy for us first timers.

Looks gorgeous! The next question is gold or chrome hardware. I could almost think some aged nickel type hardware would look great

Hey D, Great vid as always, dude. I've got a question for you: i'm starting an epoxy project with a mold a bit complex. I'm going to do it in melamine. I was wondering 1- what's the best way to cut the melamine 2- what glue should i use 3- i've got 45° angles. How should i clamp the pieces? Cheers ! 😁

Hey Derek, another gorgeous finish. I loved this burst the 1st time you did it, but on burl, WOW! Also, do you buy 3m discs or are you just cutting a regular pad for the sander? Thanks for another great video>

I have a question for you. I'm currently finishing my first build and someone sent me here because I messed up my stain by applying oil directly after stain. So he told me to check your videos and the sanding sealer. Now I sanded it back, stained it again and applied my firstsealer coat. Question is : do you stand or do something between the sealer coats ?

Do the leather dyes have any particularly unique/different curing times or procedures given they're intended for leather?

  • @georgelackey622

They are for leather where they soak in very deeply, these dyes have no UV resistance and will fade on wood!

@@georgelackey622 I wonder if that is the kind of Finish Schecter used on my wife's omen. Started off as a nice blue, now faded to an off white.
