Sweet! Looks lava like. Very cool!!!
Stellar work, as always, Derek.
Beautiful art work! I love the back, it reminds me of Tony the Tiger. You are a gifted talented and generous gentleman! 👍
Looks really nice -Thanks for the video
gorgeous finish
That looks awesome!
This vid takes me way back👍👊🤘🏼Gorgeous Guitar Body!!!🔥🔥🔥
Extremely beautiful.
Stunning work brother!
Yes looks awesome !!
This Nuclear Burst turned out really nice. A little more subdued compared to the original you did back in Jan. of 2015. Thanks for making it look so easy, great work Derek.
These are my favorite of your videos and where I think you shine!! Or at least polished(pun intended)🤪🤪🤪
That looks incredible. I'm big fan of that colour combination
Gorgeous !!!
That burst looks amazing!
Really nice job! Can’t wait to see it as a finished guitar.
Looks great
Stunning work! This inspired me for my first build! Stains in the post on their way! Thanks!
Sitting in my recliner getting schooled on how it's done! I rank this up there with the Blue Quilted top one. Can't forget the sunset one too!
That initial burl looked almost like paisley 😍
If it was me 🥴, I would have knocked the open dye containers to a heck of a mess! Very beautiful!

The boxes the 3 oz bottles come in have a slot on the back to put them in and it acts like a stand to keep them from falling over. I highly recommend using it. Saved me a couple of times.

Steven, me too lol. Every time I see someone leaving their bottles uncapped I cringe, waiting for tge mess that I would undoubtedly make🤣
Man you make it look so easy, but I'm quite sure your experience pays off. Not sure if it would be so easy for us first timers.

Sanding and yellow at the end cures all for the most part
Looks gorgeous! The next question is gold or chrome hardware. I could almost think some aged nickel type hardware would look great
Dope.
Just watched a video of a guy at PRS do a three color burst with dies, and no sanding. You ought yo check it out.
I see volcano lava👍
Very nice. I just ordered a cheap Strat body to possibly try some staining. Will Rit dye work?
Hey D, Great vid as always, dude. I've got a question for you: i'm starting an epoxy project with a mold a bit complex. I'm going to do it in melamine. I was wondering 1- what's the best way to cut the melamine 2- what glue should i use 3- i've got 45° angles. How should i clamp the pieces? Cheers ! 😁
Make the Les Paul Custom Adam Jones Signature :)
Hey Derek, another gorgeous finish. I loved this burst the 1st time you did it, but on burl, WOW! Also, do you buy 3m discs or are you just cutting a regular pad for the sander? Thanks for another great video>

I am buying the pads.
I'm going to do this on a mahogany body I have, great combo. This might seem like a daft question, but where do you sell these bodies? Ebay?
Hello, i would like to ask you, why and when you apply neutral dye ? thaks you 🤘
Amazing. Would this work on a really thin veneer top (guitar kit)

Yes but you can’t sand back
Finish is great, as always. Just one complaint : "nuke lee are", not nucular.

Yuk yuk yuk. Hahah.
I've got some Concentrated wood dyes, will they work the same way if I dilute them with water?
I have a question for you. I'm currently finishing my first build and someone sent me here because I messed up my stain by applying oil directly after stain. So he told me to check your videos and the sanding sealer. Now I sanded it back, stained it again and applied my firstsealer coat. Question is : do you stand or do something between the sealer coats ?
Do the leather dyes have any particularly unique/different curing times or procedures given they're intended for leather?

They are for leather where they soak in very deeply, these dyes have no UV resistance and will fade on wood!

@@georgelackey622 I wonder if that is the kind of Finish Schecter used on my wife's omen. Started off as a nice blue, now faded to an off white.
At first glance I seriously thought it said maple butter top.
