I ask as a beginner: why don't you paint the walls first before you build them up? Your work is great and inspiring.

Great question. The main reason is that painting a sheet of foam board can bend the sheet (after the paint dry out) and therefore making it hard to assemble the painted sheets. The other reason is that painting the walls is normally done when construction is done.

I used acrylic paint, not of a brand name. You can find many on amazon. Good luck with your project!

It is the same type of glue as elmers.
