This gave me a really good idea, I wouldn’t use this exact design but times are hard right now, we don’t really use the living room so I wouldn’t use it much but at least the apartment wouldn’t look so empty until I can afford to by real furniture. Thanks for the idea 💜💕

Good idea! I will do this, maybe use other material for sitting ... polyuteran maybe. Good sofà that we can use to storage various things and cover with removable and washable fabric!

Maybe a better use would be an ottoman w storage or a storage bench at the foot of the bed. Good idea for a childs couch maybe but it'll break if I sit on it.lol.. but it could be used for many different things. Good imagination.

Great 1st home 😊idea! You can do your own reinforcement from the inside.

Back in the 70’s I left my then husband and moved back to my home state. Found a job and a little double. Built a sofa from a cardboard box, found directions in a book at the library. Cushions were trash bags filled with the heavier balloons. You blew the balloons up to a certain point, placed them just so in the trash bag, secured them and laid them on the sofa frame. A large throw served as the covering. Didn’t turn out too bad. Spent what money I had on a refrigerator and stove. Saved up to later buy that ugly olive green, fake fur sofa and chair that I could afford! Sometimes ta do what ya gotta do. Probably a family photo here somewhere with that trash bag sofa someplace! People wouldn’t dream of doing that now.
